Baklash was a popular singing contest segment in Eat Bulaga. A noontime show that rivals It’s Showtime. Baklash is only for gays who can sing and they are so amazing. They are all so talented and funny at the same time. The first one who sang and interacted with the audience is the champion. The three were his runners up. The 3rd to the last was also became popular when he joined Eat Bulaga when he was still a teen. He sang Listen of Beyonce is everyone was really amazed because he sang that while he was lying down on the street! Oh btw, the champion is not the biretero type but he won coz he sang with feelings at the same time he captured the audience and judges vote that time because he was also very witty and funny.
It started actually as a segment or competition on Eat bulaga, wherein the contestants were gays who can sing and belt.. The title of the contest is "Baklash".. It was inspired by the singing competition on GMA which is "The Clash".. They changed the title into Baklash since "Bakla" is a tagalog word which means gay..
If you notice the first singer sang the song in a high pitch yet he sang it in a relax mode. This challenge is like bakit nga ba mahal kita challnge by gigi de lana but in an old gma sunday show SOP where regine jaya and other singers sing in rotation.
They are all comedians/singers/entertainers/ belters and more .....watching them will really make you laugh everytime ...that's a contest in Eat Bulaga the longest running noon show in Channel 7.... thanks Ovela for the reaction👍❤️
I think most of them are self taught (correct me guys if I'm wrong) that's why i still commend them on their singing capabilities even though some of their battles on youtube are not perfect but they are all funny! 😁

The 4th performer is Michael "Divette" Delfin a very good friend of mine. She really is good stand up comedian she is used to immitate Regine Velasquez' singing style.
