Norwich fan here. I don't often watch opposition pressers before a game, but thought I'd pop in to see how DF is doing. He's still well thought of in these parts, and I hope he gets the time and fortune to be successful with you. Obviously, I'm hoping Norwich keep their defeat free home record going tomorrow 🙂 but other than that, I'd be delighted to see him and your team succeed. Three managers on from DF now, and Norwich seem to have finally found a coach who can eventually bring the same enjoyment and success to Carrow Road. It's interesting that both coaches speak about the game and players in a very similar way, although I'm not gonna lie, I can understand ours better 😁 With your injuries, and this being a learning/transition period for us, it should be an interesting game and hopefully an entertaining one too. watched the game saturday. Ampadu gets injured ... looks bad ... limped off. So we have two good midfielders in Rothwell/Tanaka on the bench. Bring one on. But no ,, Ampadu comes back on (and struggles then breaks down). His adrenalin levels probably said "Put me back on, I'll run it off".. Who allowed that to happen. ? How much did that exacerbate the injury? 3 games in 7 days meant that players need to be protected and rotated.
@@DawnFarr-gn4cf not really rhetorical. i would expect physios to assess a bad injury like that thoroughly, give it as long as necessary to re-assess and make sure it was ok.. The fact that he broke down in a couple of minutes indicated that it wasnt ok and he should not have been allowed back on. Its not as if we didnt have the cover for him and were dependent on him staying on the pitch.
It looked a serious injury when he went down and the amount of pain he was in , I thought the exact same as you Martin , winning the gain quite comfortably and send him back on doesn’t make any sense
