In the pantheon of great Leeds United players, the Chief is worthy of being in the top ten, without doubt. An absolute Leeds legend and worthy Leeds captain.
Lucas what a legendary Leeds United footballing hero one of my all time favourite Leeds players such a humble man has time for everyone even opponents and rival fans have great respect for this genuine man keep fighting we all love Leeds keep 🦚🇮🇨🤍💛💙 total respect 🙏🫶🤝
The Chief was a badman defender, and Brigdey was absolutely class who without his injuries could have reached Bergkamp levels such was his grace with a ball
Great story about the chief,it was midweek many years ago & me & my 6 year son went to pick up some tickets for Saturdays game & the first team were training on the training ground which was opposite the west stand & Lucas came out on crutches & he offered to take my son on to the training ground with him for him to train with the first team,my son was so shy he wouldn’t go but what a fantastic offer from a wonderful grounded MAN,superstar is a understatement
Some thoughts I have give me a smile everytime I think them. So, imagine you're a player playing Leeds. It's raining hard and it's fierce. Your manager urges you on to add some creative spark for the side. The ball is passed into your feet. You turn the ball and glance up only to see David Batty and Radebe bearing down you. 90mins of that, of opponents having to get past Batty and Radebe to get in on goal...it's almost illegal!

When does the new technology arrive to help the boys @ set pieces.
We got cheated at the Real Madrid, we clearly whipped them
