    Pension is indeed killing us. I am shocked to see villagers who are just literate enough to read a very simple text on paper getting 70-80K/month (Govt. guest houses, PWD, etc. in Himachal Pradesh). They barely have work. Mostly it is gup-shup. For guest houses all the more they have work may be max 2 months in whole year because these are such remote villages with 0 fancy restaurants or attractions. The attractions are few waterfalls (most tourist don't wanna trek so...), lovely scenery all around. Hence, tourist are eith very less or just transiting such places.

    To start business in india is not reliable. Like I am civil engineer preparing for je exam in j&k from 4 years but jobs are grabbed by fake EWS candidates. Now I m trying to make a contractor card but it takes 4 months for only character verification.
    I m kashmiri migrant imy parents and i don't possess any property in current residence. There is a formality of 1.5 lacs of property certificate to apply for PWD contractor card. If I get contract of 20 lac how department use my 1.5 lacs rupees of property. Bureaucracy is worst in india. Entire system is worst.

    मुझे नही पता आप तक मेरी comment पहुंचेगी भी या नही लेकिन अगर पहुंचे तो एक बार इस पर विचार करिएगा ।
    उन लोगो से भी प्रार्थना है जो comments पढ़ रहे की हम क्या होते जा रहे है और आखिर चूक कहां हुई है । 🙏😔

    • @shekharjoshi7292
      @shekharjoshi7292 2 месяца назад

      चूक कहीं नहीं है भारतीय संस्कृति की वजह से ही हम सेफ हैं। इसी कारण जवाहरलाल नेहरू से लेकर नरेंद्र मोदी तक आराम से भारत पर सफलतापूर्वक शासन करने में कमोबेश कामयाब हुए हैं। आज भारतीय लोकतंत्र की राजनीतिक प्रतिद्वंद्विता इतनी विकृत हो चुकी है है कि जिनके पिछवाड़े पर जनता लात मार चुकी है फिर अलगाववादियों और अराजकतावादियों के बल बूते जनता को गुमराह कर फिर से सत्ता पर काबिज होने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं।।
      पर जो विचारशील वर्ग है जो व्यापारिक वर्ग है और पूरे भारत में फैला किसान वर्ग है उसको ये विशाल गठबन्धन बनाये हुए विपक्षी अराजकता वादी राजनेता गुमराह नहीं कर पा रहे हैं।
      शासक दल बीजेपी इन पर सख्ती नहीं कर पा रही है क्योंकि ये लोग पहले से ही चिल्लाना शुरू कर दिए हैं कि मोदी तानाशाह है, आरक्षण खत्म कर रहा है, संविधान खत्म कर रहा है।
      पर कालचक्र सही घूम रहा है अगर ये सत्ता पर काबिज हो भी जाते हैं स्थितियां सुधरने के बजाय बिगड़ जायेंगी और ये ग्यारह महीने भी अपनी जान नहीं बचा पायेंगे।
      क्योंकि स्थिरता सनातन धर्म के कारण है न कि भारत विरोधी देशी विदेशी ताकतों से।

    Agree with Mr. Bharat Karnad on many assertions he makes here. Most people don't know of the unbelievable rot in our civilian bureaucracy as well as in our armed forces setup. Apart from increasing levels of incompetence there's also high level of corruption in the armed forces which doesn't get reported in the media, as the AF is a closed system with limited access to civilians. I share the dispair of Mr. Karnad as there's far too much which is wrong with our entire country's ecosystem despite British rule (supposedly) ending in 1947. Many don't know that over 70% of our original Constitution (often wrongly credited to Dr. Ambedkar) is actually derived from the Govt of India Act 1935 - a British era Act. Even today, our entire administrative (civil services) and legal systems are legacies of the British era, as our political leaders didn't bother overhauling it to SERVE Indians. Only another colonization will change our lousy systems.

    It has been proven time and time again that a lump sump payment is the worst way to give compensation because of both splurging nature of the recipient and liquidity crunch for the government. Facing them in border skirmishes and actual war are two different things. When actual war starts I have full faith in bravery of Indian soldiers but what about our military equipment? Indian navy size is less than half of chinese navy and Indian airforce is also less than half of chinese airforce. Chinese millitary is one generation ahead of India in terms of technology. We are atleast 20 years behind China at this point in time.

    • @mingmuyiyang8615
      @mingmuyiyang8615 2 месяца назад

      The Indian army is the worst army among all China's opponents. China's war of resistance against Japan lasted 14 years, the Chinese civil war lasted 4 years, the Korean War lasted 3 years, China's self-defense counterattack against Vietnam lasted 2 months, and China's border war with Vietnam lasted 10 years. India's understanding of "war" is too narrow. We Chinese believe that India has never experienced a real war. In 1962, in the eyes of the Chinese, it was not a war, it was just an armed conflict between China and India. In 1962, the short armed conflict of only 32 days continued India's nightmare for decades. What makes the Chinese feel funny is that a border conflict has turned India into a "Battle for the Defense of the Capital of New Delhi".

      @@mingmuyiyang8615that's not true India has experience war for past 700 years , invasion after invasion. The reason India is so sensitive about border because India has suffered invasion for past 700 years. Those memories are still alive in Indian minds. That's why. Chinese has not suffered this kind of long slavery and struggle to freedom. Indians are sensitive about border because they have gained freedom after centuries of blood bath.

      @@punyashloka4946 The great man Marx's evaluation of India's history made me see it clearly. -----India is not one of the ancient civilizations, nor does it have its own complete history. On July 22, 1853, the great revolutionary mentor Marx published "The Future Results of British Rule in India" in Britain, in which he wrote: "If the entire history of India is really history, India is actually a history of being conquered by foreign nations and foreign countries again and again. India itself has no history, or India has no history known to the world. And we are just looking at the history of one invader after another. India is a country built on this endless negative foundation, and such a country is doomed to have no future."

    • @mingmuyiyang8615
      @mingmuyiyang8615 2 месяца назад

      @@punyashloka4946 I hope Indians will read it carefully and experience it with their hearts. The huge difference in the founding of China and India is destined to be the biggest difference between India and China. Just look at the modern history of the two countries and you will understand. India was colonized by Britain for more than 200 years. In 1947, Britain experienced World War II, its strength declined greatly, and its status was replaced by the United States. India took the opportunity to gain independence through "non-violent non-cooperation". In other words, India's independence has not experienced the test of blood and fire. Such an independent country has no cohesion and willpower, and no national identity. Now let's talk about China. Since 1840, the Chinese people have been living in dire straits. Various disasters and wars have followed one after another. At that time, China was very poor and backward, and suffered all kinds of humiliation. Including the cession of Hong Kong and Macau, Taiwan became a Japanese colony, the burning of the Old Summer Palace by the Eight-Power Allied Forces, and the subsequent comprehensive and brutal invasion of China by Japan. In 1931, Japan launched a full-scale invasion war against China. From 1931 to 1945, the war lasted for 14 years. The Chinese army and civilians rose up to resist, fought bloody battles for 14 years, and suffered 30 million casualties, but finally won. Do you know why China suffered so many casualties? There are hundreds of reasons. I will only give one example: when the Chinese troops encountered the Japanese army, it was often the case that if there were 100 Chinese soldiers in the battle, the Chinese soldiers only had 20 to 30 guns. The remaining soldiers would not give up resistance or surrender. They used machetes, steel forks, and wooden sticks to bravely fight against the machine guns and cannons in the hands of the Japanese army until they died. This spirit of facing death and never retreating is the Chinese spirit. 30 million casualties! Do you think this can happen in India? For India, there are zero casualties, because India's knees are soft. India will give up resistance soon. Do you know why there is "Nanjing"? Because of the desperate resistance of the Chinese army and civilians, never surrendering and never giving up. After Japan broke through Nanjing, it was first to vent its anger, and secondly to scare off other Chinese soldiers and civilians who were resisting. But all this not only did not scare off any Chinese, but further aroused the Chinese people's resistance. The founding of New China was a test of blood and fire. Do you know why the Chinese national flag is red? That's because the founding of New China was paid for by countless Chinese ancestors with their blood, and we Chinese will always remember it. From 1945 to 1949, there was a civil war in China, and the Kuomintang fled to Taiwan. Originally, the Chinese people thought they could live a long-awaited peaceful life, but in 1950, the Korean War broke out and lasted for three years. The Chinese Volunteer Army successfully resisted the US route to the north without air superiority, sea superiority, backward army equipment, and extremely poor logistics, and our price was the loss of hundreds of thousands of brave PLA soldiers. In 1962, in the eyes of us Chinese, it was not a war at all. First of all, the time was only 32 days, and secondly, from 1959 to 1961, China experienced the most difficult three years since its founding, and many people starved to death in China during these three years. In 1962, India's economy far surpassed China. The United States, the Soviet Union, and Britain all supported India. At that time, India implemented the "Forward Policy" and attacked China with elite troops. We Chinese really don't want to fight. The Chinese troops that fought with India in 1962 were ordinary border defense troops, not regular PLA. In China, soldiers are called "the most lovely people". There is a Chinese proverb: Without a country, there is no home. Soldiers are the backbone of the country. Thanks to our brave People's Liberation Army soldiers, who are always ready to defend the borders of the motherland. No matter how India's military develops, it can't surpass China. Whether in the past, present or future, China can always defeat India. This is determined by the history and culture of the two countries. The Chinese people pay attention to the spirit of dedication and sacrifice. Don't surrender, don't yield, fight to the death, and see death as home on the battlefield. It is a huge shame for Chinese soldiers to surrender on the battlefield, and the spirit of dying rather than surrendering is deeply engraved in the bones of every Chinese. These are not possessed by Indians. Therefore, even now or in the future, India will never be able to defeat China. Now, do you think India can stand in the world like China? Absolutely not.

    52:15 With due respect, this suggestion can seem viable from POV of managing Finances but in practical, numerous problems are there....
    1. Why'd State Govts sacrifice their one of the major sources for employment generation? Police is anyway state subject. Along with that The ratio of enrollment in the army is tiltrd to some specific states...for that some retired personnel will be too much for some states or some will be too less.
    2. Full absorption of 4Y Agniveers may help the CAPFs but after the proposed absorption of soldiers 7Y or 9Y colour service will create shortage of young blood in forces whereas parallel conduct of both absorption & direct recruitment will create cadre clashes inbetween the ranks....
    Absorption only after 4Y service in CAPFs maybe the only viable solution

So, William Churchill said about the Indians mentality. Therefore, you have to reverse the trends of mechanisms of meritocracy created by Brahmins since more than the couple of the millenniums. So, Meritocracy is not feasible in Indian subcontinent. Because of its historic blonders.
