Rather then a physical altercation, I would love a rap battle between Nas and Black Throught.
No competition...Nas don't have the battle skillset and I don't think he could our write Thought either...legend, but bar for bar it is not a comparison.
I went to school Capa creative and performing Arts in South Philly then, with Tariq or Reek like we called him could do anybody style better than them G rap mainly and Kane and when he did a show with Nas in Philly at the roots picnic he remembererd more Nas lines than Nas that's the type of dude Reek is and that goes for anybody me who had the luxury of freestyling with him on South Street because he is like regular folks he don't act like a star he's humble he will take common out on stage I saw him do it to qtip like he is a pirahna or shark yaw saw funkflex he can't be touched without being a thug or goon bar none the best!
Versus ?????????
@@kudabeen Yeah no. There’s nobody that’s raps that makes Nas “no competition” lol
@@kudabeen nas dont have the battle skillset?!
"Listen, my callin' card ball hard like armadillos
Rappers too thin to win, like cigarillos
Shakin' their hair back and forth like Willow
But need to save the soft ass talkin' for the pillows"-Black Thought

Peace to Black Thought. And all that was , was just a thought. Remember Nas is from Queens Bridge. Nas do not appear to be the kind of brother that anyone could just slap and all is well. Even if he did slap Nas , Black Thought , would have to deal with Jungle and Grand Whiz. Nas is the Golden Child. Nas got dudes around him that will kill and die for him.
Philly LOVES Black Thought....Philly ain't to be played with either just saying. North Philly is my roots no pun intended.
Ehhh there’s never been any real stories of nas and his crew tearing shit up everyone got dudes around them that are on some street shit but he ain’t been in that element since illmatic.
@@andreberry6958 bro we talking about a single neighbourhood/projects and black thoughts block aint wild like queens bridge projects lets keep it 100. its always listed in the most notorious projects in America like Cabrini green was. Thought crew aint big like a projects crew/gang. Thought does not have a team of known hitters surrounding him like Nas always did lets be real here.
@@tmt1675 there's always been stories about that in NYC his whole crew is QB the projects have been riding for him since Heathrow era have you forgotten? you clearly aint locked in the whole NYC know that even Jay-Z mum made him apologise because he feared for his safety and Cameron said Nas was the only person he couldn't get no dirt on when dissing people and that bloods from rikers island was calling him telling him to back off talking on Nas.
Just to be clear, the reason why Nas dissed the Roots is because at the time, the Roots were working with Jay-z on stuff like MTV unplugged. They even played Nas's instrumentals live when Jay-z was dissing him on the Takeover. Nas wasn't feeling that. Especially when they were supposed to be a conscious rap group and Jay-z was very materialistic.
omfg....my two favorite MCs of all time had beef and I never in knew¡!!!!!!!!!!??!! thank God nothing ever popped off.
Black Thought would eat any rapper alive that's under then sun. Even Nas.
even Em?
Никита Соловьев Yes. Em hasn't had a good album since The Eminem Show.
especially em
***** maybe doseone then?
slow down Black Thought is a great mc but so is Nas and so is EM
Thought = G.O.A.T.
nas knew black thought would be way out of his capabilities thats why he diffused that beef
then maybe put it in a comprehensible way. The way you put it makes no sense
Go fuck yourself pal
Your really making yourself the bigger person here. I bet your parents are proud
No nigga. He diffused the situation because Nas was in a dark place at that time and lost his moms. Did u actually watch the interview?? Ya nas haters are whack as hell.
@@willsmooth1355 his comment is 5 years old man he probably doesn't even remember it
I luv that grown up show, man.
I be getting into fights online calling Thought and Quest one of the greatest duos in rap history
Yo man as much as I love and respect nas pen and hold him at a crazy high regard top five Mc in my eyes always top five album but in a battle I think black thought would be more electric he has a faster delivery a machine gun pace he can land more with and crazy build ups both there essence and natural swagger is two of the most organic and best ever and both have bars. Something just tells me after that flex freestyle black thought would do a number on him if they faced off nas got that slow flow ether shit but thought a different beast man.
You said that perfectly Thought had an underated career but that Flex Freestyle may be the best rap ever created
Nas can't battle. Not his thing. Don't even know how people thought he topped Jay with Ether. Nas didn't even beat Cormega in their back & forth.
black thought was willing to slap the shit outta nas that night damn
***** True that....but Black Thought didn't mean it maliciously, its just rap at that time was confrontational and you had to be prepared for anything to pop off....them 90s was hardcore and rappers really had to be prepared for war especially if you dissing another rapper on wax or in the streets....the atmosphere surrounding them was filled with tension, confrontation, and the threat of violence....it gave it a edge!!!
Black thought wasn’t gon do it😂
RIP Reggie "Combat Jack" Osse
RIP
Damn that black inc shit was real still real in philly JBM didnt know he lost both parents
On his flex freestyle he said doing this for Combat!!!!!!
Picturing Thought slapping the shit outta Nas like Rick James does to Charlie Murphy is a great image. Black Thoughts the man.
It would have never happened so keep dreaming those ducktales.....lol..
Why everyone shitting on Nas in the comments?? No one can out rap Nas, not even Black Thought!!!
Have you heard any Black Thought?
you're mistaken.
Nas is a very close second to tariq. Noone can out rap tariq trotter.
Nas pin game is better. Black Thought freestyle and battle skills better. They both top 5. I'd say top 2.
+wm young I think BT's pen game on illadelph halfife album is comparable to nas on the illmatic I say that because I was hevlaciky influenced by both
Years later Nas King Disease 1 2 3 magic 1 & 2. Huh
Cmon thought you was not gonna ever slap nas lol.
He probably would of
@@Rivalthedon🧢
Any real head knows that Nas would've gotten decimated going up against the Hip-Hop Jesus (Rakim being the god, of course).
Again sleeping on Nas they sleep on Nas when Jay drop takeover and look what happen
Definitely not.
Lol, now name a rapper better....
nas
common
ghostface killah
+john you're saying albums and popularity. Sorry, Black Thought is a better rapper.
+john Black Thought still better line for line
If he would of smacked nas we wouldn't know this clown
Yeah right. Like you don't know black thought.....fuck outta here.
Randy Washington Black thought ain't no fuckin Clown.
