- Considering how many X FM shows/podcasts there are & that almost everything that comes out of Karl's mouth is comedy gold it's difficult to put together a list of his funniest comments. Therefore here are just a handful of my favourites.
I click on the video and hear "there's a shadow some where" and im already dying of laughter.

If you got to where he grew up in Sale (part of Manchester) and ask the old neighbours that still live there, many will confirm all of Karl's stories of "the old woman with the husband in a basket", or the house "with a horse in the living room". All his siblings are real, and his parents do indeed now live in Wales.
I was also sad enough to track down the guys that ran the place Karl used to work years ago (B&M Print, in Trafford Park), and they confirmed he was an idiot.

Well if he isn't acting then he is truly one of the best actors in history. Ricky and Steve have dealt with this idea that Karl Pilkington is an actor for so long, their response is simply if they were capable of creating such a great character, Sky wouldn't be the place where the sent him.

Another strong argument that suggests that he isn't a character is the fact that he has done acting jobs for Ricky Gervais before in Derek, in the bloopers he breaks out of his character and he is back to being Karl Pilkington again. Fame hasn't changed in because he doesn't really connect with his fans in the same way that most people do. He doesn't have a twitter account or anything like that.

Huh, I wasn't even really aware that this comes up a lot. And I'm not sure the guys who created David Brent and Gareth Keenan should be using arguments like "if we were capable of creating a character this good," you know? It doesn't make or break their argument but still...
Okay, so say, he's real. Then what is his response to the general public reaction to him? Seems like he would change in reaction to all the judgement? I think his lack of rxn is what made me think eh is a character.
