- Hershey and chase experiment - This lecture explains about the great Hershey chase experiment that proved the DNA as the genetic material. Harsher and chase confirms the use of DNA as a genetic material in living cell. They have used radioactive isotopes of phosphorous and sulfar to Tag nucleotides and amino acids of bacteriophage to test the idea of transduction and the transfer of DNA from virus to bacteria. That proves the movement of DNA from one to other organism.
