Some of my best memories are in this part of Edinburgh =') I used to live in Marchmont and walk down to Morningside where I volunteered at the Oxfam bookshop early in the morning. I still think about those walks as my happy place

I visited Edinburgh over Christmas and New Year and am longing to be back. I love this part of town. The next time you visit check out Artisan Cheesecake. They even have gluten free cheesecake that I can eat. Looking forward to the release of your Egyptian mythology book!
Loved that trip - its a long long time since we've been to Edinburgh but lived and worked there in the late 70's and early 80's - got married in Morningside, as did my sister in law - thank you 😄

I have known that area for over 60 years, because my Grandparents living in Bruntsfield at that time.
I have only ever driven through Morningside but it looks so lovely 😍

Yes!!! Maisie is my main association with morningside ahahaha

I really enjoyed this - the first bookshop that you showed looks so amazing - Wow. The Chocolate Shop that you showed - I would just die in that place if I went there. Chocolate is my favorite candy. Here in the United States in the State of Michigan there is a Chocolate Candy Shop that is very similar to the one that you showed. They make their own Chocolate Candy and they make their own Ice Cream Flavors too. It is to die for.

This was amazing, I really want to visit Edinburgh, and we were thinking about going next summer but since the world situation is so unpredictable and it's not the easiest trip to take (non-EU and travel wise), I'm afraid we won't be able to do it unfortunately. :( Keep making these kinds of videos! :)

This is the exact kind of area I would love to live in. I'll finish my master's in February and I've been thinking about where I want to live once I get a job. I'll for sure look out for areas like this.

Which city do you like more: London or Edinburgh? :D
Both are wonderful in so many ways and I like them better in different categories aha. But Edinburgh is where I want to settle down.
We have too much tourists especially in summer.
