This plug in is a LIFE CHANGER. I have been struggling with manipulating color using the LUTs in Premiere, and this is a game changer. Gonna start using my ZCAM for vlogs. ha
Looks so good mate. You shot all in ProRes internally, right? Does the ZlogColor work under Davinci Resolve? Also what lenses did you use on that shot?
Great video. Thanks for sharing it. I was originally looking at the S6 but because I need better low light will now go for the F6. The original lens I was looking at was the Sigma 18-35 F1.8. But I believe that’s not full frame. Any recommendations on a full frame lens that’s equivalent for the F6? Thanks in advance.
this is incredible! Really looking forward to get our hands on one to! What settings did you use for the shots you made? & which lens was used there? looks absolutely amazing
First Z cam footage that looks very good, 8:04 really nice lighting setup. Reminds me of Lord of The Rings. 8:06 getting a lot of noise here, probably because of youtube compression
Great video bro! I’d like to know what lenses do you use (model, etc) and what settings did you prefere recording like (4k/60, 6k/30). I am asking you because it seems like you understand a lot about this camera since you are using a while now. Thanks and keep making z cam videos. 🤞🏼
Thanks Kyle! Your insight is really well done, clearly explained and shown properly with a nice snappy and simple flow. Appreciate your work definitely subscribing to your channel
Nice highlight bloom on the windows at 8:00 - curious if it's the result of lens characteristic, or did you use a filter (like Black Pro Mist), or was there something else that produced that effect?
so I am a total newb to shooting vid, having to learn to save costs. I bought an E2 etc. how do you or can you preview your footage on the camera or the external monitor?
Hey wonder if you could help me? I'm having problems with figuring out when filming whether to use waveform on Native zlog2 image to determine exposure or do I put the rec709 monitor LUT on and then determine my exposure (false colour/waveform) based on that? rec709 LUT much darker than zlog2 so which one do I trust to get best exposure?
I don't know if this is right or not and you've probably already found the answer, but the Saturation Correction looks like it's desaturating the shadows to me.
HI there. I would suggest which ever converts from Zlog2, which is what I'm assuming your RAW colour gamut is assigned to. You should also consider using the Z-cam Premiere Pro plug in. - D
Hi mate. Super basic question. I’ve got FCPX. I’m trying to download the Zlog correction plugin. When I click download next to it it brings two files into downloads. I think they’re zipped. Where do I put them to get the plugin to work?
Hi There. Not sure if we can adequately answer your question. Your best resource for all Z-Cam questions is the Z-Cam Facebook Group. It's run by Z-Cam and they answer questions very quickly.
Hi REF, I have a MAC and I haven't encountered any issues. Are you maybe talking about Z-raw? But even in the case of Z-raw, you can still see the file, you just simply need their raw converter (available for mac OS on their site). I recommend you join the Z-Cam community page on Facebook. It's moderated by the company and you can ask all sorts of questions and get answers pretty quickly. Best of luck! - D

Love the overview man. Shots look awesome too BUT watching someone grade in Premiere is so painful.
That footage you are using looks amazing! Is the video already out? Would love to see the whole thing! :)
Thanks! Not yet. Our F6 review will be up in the next week or two.
looking forward to it
You say you exposed by eye. Did you used lut conversion on your monitor or did you exposed zlog ? zcam are really great cameras !
would love to hear about the raw capabilities
Thanks for the overview. I'm really looking forward to know the workflow of Zraw footage of F6. Did anybody did Zraw gread test ?

is that snow outside? great review can't wait to get my hands on it soon
Good review. Great footages.! Cool Z.
nice footage.
dude , loved your contax tshirt.
Great video, BTW, what font are you using in your video lowerthirds? Looks clean!
It looks amazing. I've heard zcam images are noisy in dark areas compare to other brands, how do you finding it?
If you overexpose about 2 stops it will clean up the noise in the shadows

Could you please tell us what lens you used on this particular shoot ???
What lens did you use? Thanks! :)
And who is the Metal Worker in your video ?
You said you had a Black Magic (PCC?), are you going to switch to Z cam?
Is z camera approved in netflix ?
what ProRes version do you recommend to optimize image quality x file size; i'm on LT right now but can do up to Proxy
When you downloaded the luts, how did you get them into the program?
Brett did you figure this out how to load to premiere?

Can you help me out. How do you load or install to premiere? Please help
Which Lut should I use for for ProRes RAW in Premier Pro? ( Shooting Z-CAM E2S6+Atomos Ninja5)
