I have a pan of the Schmincke Blueish version, which I got in a square palette, and a small tube of W&N. The Schmincke seems to have less value range at least on your swatch here. Mostly I use them for painting cast shadows from fruit. The one thing I wish is that we could have seen the Payne's and Indigo swatches together! I guess I'll just have to look at my own LOL
I have winsor&newton's which I like for skies and the sennelier which is nice for shadows. Schmincke's bluish version looks nice and I do want to try w&n's indigo
Hello! I prefer Payne's grey to be grey, because I use it to darken clouds and vegetation, when I need a very dark blue I use Indigo. The one I have in my main palette is Sennelier's. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS
I prefer sennelier, white nights which has pv23 now, and sodelite, which mine tube is less blue leaning. If I want a dark blue leaning I will go for indigo, to me the others are not grey, they are blue. Eta: loving micheal hardings now as well.
I would love to see a comparison of Cerulean blue is my favorite colour. I only have Paynes gray by Holbein and really like it, the Sennelier seems beautiful also the White Nights one catch my eye but I don't like the PV3 cuz is fugitive.

Would love to see a video on granulating violets (like pv16 and pv14 etc) or Naples yellows :)
yes i think i can do that... I don;t have alot of each type but doing a combined video sounds like a good idea!

I agree and sennelier is also on my main palette
Yeah I'm coming to the realisation that I think I just want indigo and not a paynes grey - lol!
