    I made a small scape using this method and the worst part was trying to make enough powder by crushing the rocks. It took way more time than any other part of the process and I ruined a tarp in the process. Any tips for how to make a large volume of the powder quickly without rocks flying around or dust falling to the ground and getting wasted? I'm upgrading and need to build a bigger scape and thinking about trying this with some fine sand this time instead because of how obnoxious the dust was to make.

      Thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel. I do understand it’s bit painful to crush rocks. You can use normal tissue paper and it will work too. I use that method for freshwater scapes. Stuff tissue paper between two rocks and then pour the glue, it will join the rocks together. Other way is to get a small stone crusher from hardware store. But that can be expensive if only bought for a project. What I do is crush rocks and then use old kitchen grinder to make powder. That speed up the process and minimum waste. Hope this helps.

    Thanks for the video. Would this technique work similarly with live rock and rock powder, or is it necessary for the rock to be dry like Marco etc.?

      Thanks for loving the video and supporting the channel. Yes this will work with live rocks but you have to take them out of water and with towel or tissue dry the area you want to join, it doesn’t have to be super dry just not too wet. Sprinkle crushed lives rocks powder and add the glue. You will see chemical reaction like in this video and job done. After that I still recommend to apply cement / mortar to make it super strong join.

    nice aquascape. I am having trouble finding a dealer of your glue in Europe - can you refer me to someone who will ship to Denmark? Regards Kim

      Thanks. Yes, you can buy directly from our retail shop in Australia and through the website. veroaquatics.com.au/collections/aquascaping-glue
      It will calculate shipping but itself to other countries. Order more than one bottle so its worth the shipping. Thanks for the support.

    One bottle that you have in the video will only do the size of scape in the video? Thx

    i did this, after putting it in the water the joint seems like shrunk a lil bit overtime, i did not use cement. just powder and super glue. is that ok?

    • @JagAquaticsAustralia
      @JagAquaticsAustralia  2 года назад

      Yes it is ok as long as you used enough powder to make it strong. I do use cement now a days in addition to the glue to have peace of mind :)
