I have been reefing since 2001. Back when Marco rock was never used or even mined for that matter. 20 years ago everyone just stacked a wall and didn’t understand flow. Then years later we just took some nice Fiji or Pukani cut one side flat with hack saw to stand on the glass and had a few pillars. That was considered next level. I’ve seen 100’s if not 1000’s of videos on how to aquascape. This was by far the most educational how to I’ve seen yet creating something unique and seamless. Excellent my man.
Oh mate thank you so much for the kond words! Im on a mission to banish the rockwall amd hope this video can help people do that! Coming from someone with so much experience means alot so thanks mate!
Perfect nsa. Best I've seen. What's important to note is how it will look in 12 months, not now. If it's for a fowlr, then invert the plates or use shallow boulders as shelves. Beautiful dude. Very clever.
I love your scapes. Your videos have been such a help and inspiration for me, thank you. Can you give me details on where and/or how I get the glue? Many thanks, Mark.
Man... Epic! So I just started cycling my first marine tank EVER. Gives me plenty of time to try my hand at this. Won’t look as good as yours, but thanks for the inspo and walkthrough 👌
Awesome mate enjoy the journey and take your time! Nothing happens fast in saltwater except for catastrophies 😅 love that the scape has inspired you! Sing out if you have any questions 😊

Would love to see this in tank with water and how you went conditioning the rock and how it progresses/ matures. There’s lots of NSA how-to videos around but I haven’t found any 3-6-9 month in tank stories.

Hi, I really enjoyed watching your aquascaping videos. You make it look so easy! Did you say you are selling the glue now? I’m in south Florida and will be re-aquascaping my 10 ft. long 400 gallon. Thanks
Looks really good mate 💯...only thing I would change, would be to add a flat bit on the points touching the glass on the taller structure, would be a lot of weight concentrated on those points, makes me nervous
First Time Reefer TV how much KG of rock did you use in total on the two structures mate? I hope I can replicate what you have done here on my next tank✌️
Just another face in the crowd if i had to guess they are about 10kgs each! You would use more shelf then base rock as once you break the base rock up it goes a long way! Goodluck and sing out if you have any questions!
Thanks so much for the demo and video. I’m wondering how the scape is holding up over time? I am keen to build something similar and avoid using epoxy or mortar as others have gone. Have you found the superglue and Marco powder joints are strong enough on their own?
Hey mate! Has certainly held up in my tank without issues and afew others who have tried this method long before me havent had any erosion either so should be all good!
Hi buddy what was the new super glue you’re using? I’m in the uk so the axia glue has a lot of shipping attached to it. Great job by the way I’m loving the scape.

I know vid is old might not get an answer but here it goes .. all glue and no mortar do you think anyone should use mortar or just glue would be fine ?
What kind of glue do you recommend that I use here in the us since axia 911 doesn’t sell here. and is there a substitute of sand instead of crushing the rock.
Todal gardens has a video on the best glues to use in the US! Please leave a comment saying I sent you to their video 😅 you can use an aragonite sand in lieu of the crushed rock!
