So this video was made for The Journey Contest. The aim was to show a snippet of a journey. I'm just going to quickly explain how I meant to show this just incase it isn't clear enough in my video. Black and white scenes are either in the past, or different parts of her journey because I, I wanted to focus on Mary Stuart becoming a real queen and not just being born one. I only showed up to the part where she gained respect for the first time from her people. I decided not to show anything else, her building up her army, wanting to take on England etc...mainly because it's only supposed to be a snippet and I think the ended shows that well.
Other than that, yeh there are a few glitches in the video, some I can't sort and others I don't have time for. I leave to go on holiday in 2 days, and so I won't have my computer, so no time to finish. Anyway, i'm still pleased with how it turned out.
I just want to say thanks to my Mum, Gerda and another friend of mine for helping me with this video. Their comments and critics are always helpful. I love you guys ♥

It makes you feel like your watching the whole show again but even better as it makes you be able to watch the whole story but not with all the bad parts of the story.

This is seriously amazing!! I LOVE this!! SO brilliantly edited and it just really fits the theme of this round so well to show a snippet of a journey. I love the one you chose and I could completely connect and feel all the emotions that led to her 'rising' and gaining the respect of her people as queen. Just simply brilliant, your editing is incredible too! I love this so much, so amazing!!

This is a FANTASTIC video, Sophie! What an excellent choice of voiceovers, continuous and linked to each other and telling the story... it must have taken you ages to select the right ones! And the scenes told the story amazingly... Franics/Mary, France/Scotland, love for country v/s love and romance, so many difficult choices, summarised beautifully here. I also loved the way you've presented the video, with the strips and the subtitles and the colouring... this is really excellent. Amazing scene selection, the way Mary is pulled in so many different directions. I wish you the best for the contest, this is smashing!

Excellent! Videos like this make me want to start watching new shows! Just a question though, was it easy to find the right scenes for the video? See, I'm interested in video editing as well
Scorpion Flower Im sorry im only getting round to answering your quesiton the now, if you love the series you vid, the scenes are eventually easy to find yes. But for me, vidding takes time, it's sort of an art after all, or at least that is how I see it ;)
