I feel the same way! When I was looking into these, it seems to be because of our highway differences and the safety driving on them. The UK couldn’t imagine having a 8 lane highway going minimum of 75mph (very common living in Texas.)
A guy in my village who does carriage driving (werner ulrich, switzerland) has an older one of those, I used to go on tournaments all over europe with it, so comfortable! Fits 7 Horses, we usually took 5 with us.
