yeah I feel this, but with hells paradise being as popular of a manga as it is it made me wonder why it didn't get the same treatment as a csm/jjk. I still don't think hells paradise is bad tho.

Let me try to clear a few things 1.Ure absolutely right about jjk that anime's production cud collapse any ep at this point. CSM had 2 yrs to make its anime jjk had like 9 months 💀 2.Hell's paradise looks bad not because of the overwork(tho that is still there) but if a team of animators are busy animating thinks LIKE GODDAMN JJK AND CSM then who is left to work at hell's paradise(answer: no one). 3.Chainsaw man's first 8 ep were a masterclass production and then it dipped a bit but chainsaw man is still one of the best animated shows out there. 4. AOT's final chapters have gotten the time they needed so AOT looks beyond incredible.(If this cud happen with CSM and JJK too then we might just get smth better than even demon slayer or mob psycho)
Little late but want to make some corrections, JJK and CSM are made by the Seshimo line of MAPPA that is probably the best team in the anime industry for pulling in talented freelancers and also has some really good inhouse MAPPA animators like Takafumi Mitani (Solo animated ending 8 of Chainsaw Man). However, CSM production was more like around 9 months because it couldn't really start after JJK 0 was finished and JJK S2 can't start after CSM, you get the idea. For Hell's Paradise, it doesn't share the same team as the Seshimo line. It's under producer Kawagoe who also is the producer of AOT and prioritized talented animators onto AOT over Hell's Paradise causing it to look worse (He did provide a lot of talented directors onto HP though). This should be fixed with AOT end though.

Here's a sobering thought: as long as the current popularity of anime sustains, or even grows (it will peak internationally at some time as all things eventually do), there simply are not enough skilled, and/or experienced creatives and production staff to fulfill the needs of the market, which means animation studios will continue to rely heavily upon underpaid, overworked freelancers and offshore labor. You want to see all your favorite manga get the proper anime treatment for your entertainment? That's the cost. You want it: they pay for it. Until the industry contracts due to waning popularity, and fewer projects are ordered, and studios become more selective about what gets produced, and the workforce is pared down to the more talented, skilled, experienced artists who will work longer production pipelines to ensure quality control, while remaining on budget, the current state of the industry is the way it's going to be.
Greatest thing of Mappa team in infinity amount of creativity and love for their projects Jjk csm aot would be easily ruined in different hands Authors of manga works with studio to make it perfect Biggest problem is TIME weebs can't even wait 1 year without crying everywhere
You cant say jjk or csm would be ruined without the seshimo line or aot would be ruined without arai or Hayashi. Theirs other talented staff from other studios or just as free lancers such as the Hakuyu Go team.
Dude, it has nothing to do with weebs not being able to wait. MAPPA's time issues, stem from their imbecile of a CEO, who wants to make MAPPA into the biggest anime studio, in just a couple of years, and just takes project after project, to the point that they get impossible to manage. JJK isn't in a crisis now, because they were not given enough time - they were given two whole years to work on it - the hellish schedule is the result of the CEO buying the rights for Chainsaw Man, and deciding to anime CSM instead of doing JJK, which left MAPPA with 6 months to work on JJK.
These people need to stop complaining on Twitter. Mappa releasing weekly episode even with inconsistency is already good enough considering they picked up a lot of show to be animated by them even Bleach Thousand-year Blood War Arc that's been in production for 5 years still have 5 directors in one of the episode meaning there's A LOT of bad scheduling and problems and even Aniplex had to stop/delayed 3 anime at the same time due to how bad their scheduling and problems is, and no this is not Mappa's problem this is the whole industry problem, why? because no one wants to be an animator anymore because of the low pay thingy and they are too independent in the freelancers and college students that they are using/hiring meaning if one of them gets sick by let's say C19 virus because their country still suffer that virus they will have to delay the entire show for 1 whole week because 1 staff matters a lot, and not to mention the new culture of streaming problem on why a lot of anime EVEN that are bad is being produced and animated, and the corruption and things and bla bla bla, but I won't go too deep into it since I don't really know much and it will take me ages to write everything
For the case of jjk, the production committee gave 2 years for season 2 but manabu otsuka and the executives at MAPPA decided to have csm in production during jjk 0 and the presumed production of jjk s2 which led jjk s2 pre production and production to only be in 9 months
