- This was my first visit to this railway and what a great little railway.
Locos seen and filmed were D8568 class 25 D7612 97205 ex 31163 37227 37409 66702 filmed on Saturday 6th April 2019.
Super stuff. Does indeed seem like a lovely little railway. Well done to them for putting this gala together

Whilst the 'clag' may attract some, surely it is an indication of a problem? Over fuelling, blocked filter, turbo. Whatever it is expensive fuel is being wasted.
The reason can be sometimes Robert that the engine had been left idling for a long time, and it had been at Princes Risborough before I filmed that last clip.

That class 25 was one of the reasons I went there Brian, I know it will be at the SVR gala but I like the sound of them rats. I do like going to different places but I didn't like the windy conditions. Regards Mike.
Mike, yes they sound great and even better when we worked them in multiple. Very often on the coal workings from Kingsbury into Hams Hall or WWH.

I have to wonder about the state of the injectors or the turbos on 37227, though; you do sometimes get a burst of smoke like that when the throttle's opened rapidly, but it didn't seem to be thrashed excessively there. Seems to be on one bank of cylinders particularly

Excellent video Mike, but something went wrong with sound level at 5:27
I've been having this problem since the two class 50s two weeks ago, I thought it was the mic but I changed that then on this days filming it happened again so I changed the battery as it could be a poor connection, and it was ok then with the rest of the days filming. So to make sure I'm now using another camcorder. Thanks for watching this video and your comment. Mike.
Goodness, that platform looks crowded. It seemed to draw quite a crowd.
Well I was surprised how small the station was and the crows come for the haulage don't they mate.
Is the Class 37227 a Mirrlees Engine?

These add blockers drive me nuts. Cut off your video. I was watching it. Gotta be careful around this junk. GBRf is cool. That 2J64 is nothing but cool. Great scenery.
