- The M2 is getting some exhaust work done. I made this video a bit out of order as the suspension is already on, but that'll be in the next video. Unfortunately due to the EDC issue we couldn't open the valves, so it's at PSI getting coded so we can properly hear it with open exhaust valves. The Remus rear section is next!

Added this and a Remus muffler to my M4, the sound is almost perfect

Do you have a solution for running an S65 in a different chassis (E36/8) with the stock DME?

Yep, it was accidentally tossed. We got another one and it has been installed
To open the valves you just need to put the engine mode next to the shifter in Sport Plus and blip the throttle to open them up 👍🏾
Please weigh the car when it’s complete with the light weight seats. This is going to be a true CSL car when complete as BMW took off 90kg stock CS with ceramics. They say 100kg+ off is CSL with the original ultra light being 180kg off standard. This build will be very close to a true CSL and with the added power will be a gem. I can’t wait to take her home in the giveaway!

Great install! Although, confused on one aspect. Why did you have to cut the stock exhaust when you're going to change out the axleback anyway? The midpipe can connect right up with the remus exhaust and there wouldn't need to be any cutting of the factory pipes because it wouldn't be used anymore.
Because Matt wants to drive the car and isn't concerned with the stock exhaust being cut. When he gets the Remus rear section we will bolt it on.
Thought you were waiting for the Remus so you didn’t have to cut the rear OE section off?
The car is going with us to the Smoky Mountains and Matt wants to be able to drive it with the AA mid pipe.

still gonna sound like garbage but love the content. Would do so many more things to my car if i could walk under it with a lift! gotta love the headspace to do all these mods!
Agreed with the “still gonna sound like garbage”. Honestly I have failed to see any aftermarket off the shelf exhaust improve the sound of this engine. And your right if I had the lift and everything he does I would be fabricating up a full custom exhaust and doing so much more also!

i wouldn't wait. They're still months to a year from being in production phase.

Is it not possible on this model to plug in the valves, turn it on, put it in M mode to open the valves, then while running just disconnect the valves so they permanently stay open?
I think it throws a code. I'm not 100% in that but he wants the valves working anyway.
Yea it is possible and there are videos on how to do what question you have just asked.
@@BEAR_S55 Oh I'm very aware lol, the valves were the first thing I disconnected when I got my 2 series but it never throws a code, been like that for about 3 years now.
@@RogueScum yea that’s it man I’ve never heard of it throwing any codes when you do it. It’s never done it on my M2 and it’s been over a year now
