I never leave comments on videos, but this one was insanely helpful in showing how to use Lumetri Colour without adding any unnecessary filler that it takes too long to get to the point, or assuming too much pre-learned knowledge - so I just had to say thank you. I use Premiere all the time for editing but rarely touch it for colouring due to the belief it was too limited, but after this video I can see all the potential and time saving opportunities when close enough is good enough for grading. Keep it up you legend!
I'm usually hitting the like button and not commenting, but I felt called to share a positive sentiment. Out of all the tutorials I've seen, this is the most easy to understand, most logical, and most thoughtfully created tutorial I've seen for color grading. Thank you, sir! Keep goin'.
I've been a 3D model artist, working with games engines, for 20 years now but I've recently kinda gotten tired of it.. I'm 40 years old now and I just don't feel passionate about it anymore.. I have, however, found a new passion for video editing and creation. I have done video editing a lot in the past but I'm finding it to be a lot more fun now!
Hi, thanks for your video. One question, in some videos I've seen that you create layers and edit the color on the layer (ending up affecting all the shots). Or is it better to edit the color directly in the shots as you do in the video?
yeah. I am livid because I was today years old when I figured out that you can get everything beautiful within Premiere Pro and it is not enough if you are not aware that you need a UT gamma compensation LUT upon export. I have been wondering why my videos look like dog sh*t and that is why!
I normally don't' comment in video. If I appreciate it, I only click, like, to support, but this one disserves both. Very helpful tutorial, thank you for this.
Great stuff.... where I get confused with editing is taking a clip from a film that peaks out everywhere.. for example furiosa based off scopes has too much color.... ?
sony zv1?? I have this camera and I thought it was not an option to shoot on S log with this kind of camera:( can you please send me the setting and a video about it?
Personally I feel it just makes the timeline messy. I know there are benefits to using adjustment layers but I'd rather stack lumetri colour effects on the clip instead of use adjustment layers
I love it. I wanted to see how does this layout at the end, since it's a video what happens with the lighted areas as the scene change or camera moves from position to another.
Hey thanks for the tutorial, I’ve been wondering for a while how to correct single color, and this video was exactly what I was looking for! Thank you for your time ;)
cant get your video luts to work, they are xmp files and cant be uploaded into premier pro, also the installation guide cannot be opened. any advice pls?
Last Premiere Pro Free version on my channel🖤💫
6:04 boosting reds I have found, looks great in the shadows of darker-toned people. Reds bring out the richness of the skin

Oh dude, my pleasure and thank you for the kind words 🙏
It would be better if you provide audience the exact video you had graded so that we could practice ouselves....btw nice video best of luck.
Finally a tutorial without any Luts!! Absolutely love it!!
Thank you 😭😭🔥🔥 Exactly what I was looking for.

Did you do the colour space transform? From Log 3 to Rec 709
That was extremely helpful. Thank you
Hi, thanks for your video. One question, in some videos I've seen that you create layers and edit the color on the layer (ending up affecting all the shots). Or is it better to edit the color directly in the shots as you do in the video?
will you make a video on colour grade when its a action video where parts a moving in and out of the frame or the object Is moving a lot.
Anyone know why on my curves tab I only have 1 option of Hue vs Hue? No Hue vs Sat etc
Do you have any videos showing how you color grade WITH your LUTS? I have the bundle pack and would love to see your workflow with them.
I want to add a super detailed workflow into the product, since you've already got it, you'll get it for free when it's ready!
just use resolve instead of this trash

wow, best grading tutorial I've seen, thank you!
You taught me a lot! Subbed 🤝

Be sure & apply a gamma compensation LUT upon export if you don't want a washed out result.
Great little video, thanks for sharing dude!
Great stuff.... where I get confused with editing is taking a clip from a film that peaks out everywhere.. for example furiosa based off scopes has too much color.... ?
Which profile file shot this video?? Please tell me setting
Neat. Great. Elegant. But why not just shoot without log when this look is the target?
great video!! - am a newbie. when, if ever, does one use 'AUTO' under basic correction?
sony zv1??
I have this camera and I thought it was not an option to shoot on S log with this kind of camera:(
can you please send me the setting and a video about it?
It was neat and clear explanation. Very usefull for me. Thanks so much bro 👍🏻
Is there any reason you don’t use adjustment layers to do the various steps? i.e log to Rec 709 conversion, color correction and creative grade.
Personally I feel it just makes the timeline messy. I know there are benefits to using adjustment layers but I'd rather stack lumetri colour effects on the clip instead of use adjustment layers
You are grading based on a frame? What about 20sec later when you won t have green trees or red “hat”?
Thnk you bro!its help full
Thank You! Learnt a lot!
Thank you so much
Great video, this helped me a lot.
Can you teach us from basic to advance level ?
Expand on your question here man, I'm always open to suggestions!
Maybe showing how a beginner would go about grading, intermediate, advanced. Techniques as you progress?
Help mi with the luts😭🙏

Can't leave without Subscribing! Thanks for the Amazing Tut!
Thank you! Subscribed after this.
Great!!!
Do this settings work for Nikon z6ii video recording since I don’t use s logs
Maybe not these exact settings but the workflow should translate over well!
I love it. I wanted to see how does this layout at the end, since it's a video what happens with the lighted areas as the scene change or camera moves from position to another.
i like the tut but i confuse what if the video is moving?how does it affect the whole video?thanks
Nice, you know well what you want and how to do it.

Amazing
Thanks bro Keep it up !!
This is amazing❤
Great video!
How do you expose your S Log footage?
If you over expose like you should then you need to pull whites and highlights down to reveal detail
Thank you!
vignette is always the cherry on top if done right !
IDK why people still use premiere for color grading 😂
What do you recommend?
@@lexus_alxsandredavinci
@@lexus_alxsandreI’m guessing he recommends davinci resolve
So wich one is the best for grading
@@MajaliwaMahamudi-qr5mh of course resolve, it has a free version and it's used to grade almost every movies inthe world.
