you can disable the zoom rocker from Settings - Buttons & Dials customization, and then remove the assigned functionality it annoyed me to hell and back when I got the ZV-E1, I honestly have no idea. why they would put that on the camera since I'm pretty sure 99% of people don't use power zoom lenses
Very good review Zac 👏 I have the ZVE1 now since about half year and I really love it 😍 although I have a bigger FX6 😂 the small size is perfect for traveling and the quality is awesome 💪🏼 best cinematic greetings from germany
Thanks for the love! If you have loads of space and don’t mind a heavier camera, the fx3 is solid but if you want a smaller second body, you can’t beat the zve1!
Imo it comes down to portability, if you need RAW video, need a fan for prolonged shooting outside, or dual SD card slot. Obviously nicer to have but for the extra money saved a lot of people will be completely happy with the ZVE1!
I'm looking to switch over to mirrorless from my canon 80D dslr But im looking for an hybrid camera that can shoot photos and videos it can be social media anything to get me started Low light is a Plus
To quote you the full size sensor allows you to create that blurry background. The lense has mostly to do with its creation. You can create a blurry background. Using a micro four thirds system. Here is a major piece of very important helpful advice. Educate yourself as much as you can. On the subject matter that you want to educate. Your audience about.
A full-frame sensor doesn't allow you to create a blurry background it helps make it more prominent when using low apertures. Maybe I wasn't coming across clearly enough for you or the way I conveyed my message could have been interpreted incorrectly. Apologies for the confusion!
Hello Zac, I'm really hesitating between the ZV-E1 and the FX30 because I'm going on a long trip in a year, and I plan to make long vlogs, filming a lot, at the best possible quality. I'm very worried that the ZV-E1 won't keep up in terms of overheating, which is why the FX30 seems like a better choice with its fans. What do you think? If you know of any other cameras, even from brands other than Sony, that you could recommend, I'm all ears
Interested in this camera, I have a question I'm trying to blog and most of my footage will be in places with low lighting for example a music studio with color led lights around. will this camera be good for that type of environment ? and another question does everyone now record footage at 4k? I'm not a video guy but in my mind I'm thinking everyone is recording at 4k to get the highest quality. Thanks

Nice! Thanks for the love 💪🙏
Is there a better option for video where the color is already good? Cuz that looks HORRIBLE before you color grade
ZV-E1 the GOAT! 🔆
Great Video Zac... I'm still deciding whether to get the FX3 or ZV-E1 as my second camera to compliment my A7IV

Damn dude, depending on what your photo work consists of, the zve1 could be the perfect choice 🙏

What lens do you recommend for the zve mark 2? I'm looking for a good allrounder, portrait and street photography
Oooo either the 35mm or the 50mm would be my personal recommendations 🙏
