thanks for this simple, honest no frills review! it was really helpful that you used the mic's audio for most of the video, that's how a mic review should be. that really sucks that the audio is so bad when clipped on. i saw this other video where it sounds much better if you hold it out in front of you. ruclips.net/video/CEcMiVF0mDs/видео.html but the reason why people want lav mics is to be HANDSFREE. i agree that the iphone audio is much better. i saw another review for the same product, but now i suspect that guy edited the audio to make it sound that good. ruclips.net/video/FtLXQ6V868s/видео.html
I seen your comment on another video and the audio from that one and this one are completely different. It feels like we are looking for the same kind of product. Have you had any luck?
I can't get it to work. I plugged the receiver in my iPhone and turned on the microphone, the light turned green, but no sound comes out. Do you need to do something with the phone first?

I'm going with the rode wireless go. Seems like there aren't any good budget options for wireless mics, have to spend a lot of money.

That's all I had to do with mine. I have heard that mics this cheap can be inconsistent though.
