Once the BTS boys were asked what's their most proud moment?
Jin answered the question, "I was really proud of myself the moment I was allowed to call Bang P.D., my Hyung (elder brother)."

I think NJ quick success and popularity were getting into MHJ's, NJ's and their parents' heads. They got more ambitious, greedy and entitled. They had forgotten that their label was riding on Hybe and BTS's namesake. A few of the BTS members even helped to promote NJ with dance challenges and mentioned their songs during live streams. They're biting the hands that feed them.
If they were to start from ground zero under MHJ's own company and without so much finance available and good producers, I doubt they would be so successful and recognised as now.
I think people forget that MHJ is a power in K-pop since the early 2000s... under SM.
K-pop fans know her.
But this is exactly why I don't believe her "I was tricked" routine.
SM is known for the tricks they played, even illegal ones.It's an open secret.
MHJ pushed herself between the girls and their parents on one side and HYBE. She isolated both partys from each other.
That the girls behave like insecure teenagers is expected because that is what they are. They are still learning about the world.
Till they were scouted I guarantee that their parents didn't know anything about K-pop. The last time they listend - maybe - to K-pop was in the 90s.
They believed what they are told. They believed the BS on social media/Naver. How could they not?
And MHJ made them more insecure by feeding into this. That is the part that copies the 50/50 situation.
I am unsure whether these girls are the product of MHJ and their parents are just naive, or they are spoilt brats. I hope it is the former but the jury is out. I am sure the first thing that came to everyone's mind was Bang PD not recognising Tae!
I say make all trainees share a bedroom in a 4 room apartment, train in a room above a restaurant, rehearse 12-14+ hours a day and work part time jobs to survive, not see your parents for a couple of years, all while accumulating debts. Maybe then everyone would be a bit more grateful.💜

A one. bedroom Mosquito infested apartment and a MOLDY basement dance practice room that BTS were GRATEFUL for. They were GRATEFUL for a chance to work hard for their dream. One of the main personality characteristics that makes BTS so charming and likeable is their HUMBLENESS and GRATEFULNESS until this day. No whining, complaining, pouting, acting or feeling "entitled" to something. Suga even said " I am grateful I never had it easy. Bang PD may not be a saint, but he is proven to be a better mentor for young people than MHJ. MHJ is making New Jeans look spoiled and entitled. She should not work with children or young adults she is a role model for narcissism.

I think NJ girls need to watch how BTS started and how they live when they debut. These girls are paid millions in their first year and live in penthouse and crying mistreatment. These girls are so lucky and they don’t know it.

The young girls in question are indeed very talented but despite their succes they're still just a relatively new group. And yet they apparently have quite the inflated ego since they seem to think they're entitled to anything from Bang Si-Hyuk. The man has hundreds of people to worry about plus he's notoriously bad at recognising people and yet they feel a level of entitlement to even air out their private grievances with him in public. Huge no-no in my book. In BTS's Vanity Fair "gameshow" Jin considered it a huge honour and milestone when they went from considering him a friend instead of a boss. And they'd worked directly with him for years at that point, including the time he didn't recognise some of them despite the tiny company. And yet he's supposed to know who they are? The girls are getting way ahead of themselves here. So - talented? Yes. Humble? No. A little introspection is definitely in order here.

I agree 100%. I just feel that they are at a highly impressionable age and it is Min Hee Jin and their parents' duty to give them a reality check. What we are seeing instead is them feeding poison to their minds. Compare this to V "complaining" to Bang for not recognising him even after spending so much time in Big Hit when the company was so tiny. That is why they are BTS and that is why New Jeans can never be BTS. I think the root of the problem lies in the fact that Min Hee Jin wanted New Jeans to be the "next BTS" by having an easy ride on BTS' success, dismissing the fact that to be BTS, you need character, personality, the level of hard work they put in over the years and sacrifices, 10% of which I bet, the Ador club would never be able to be and do! Since they did not get the recognition from Bang that they expected, they started whining and complaining about every little thing on earth. I hope they realise how petty all these sound and how small these insignificant things make them look. Really pathetic!

There is no legal points raised on their side and Hybe has corporate law and the rights of a shareholder on their side. The only unknown is the actual contract between MHJ and Hybe.
I have worked in global companies and have never seen the chairman recognise employees. The fact that these people seem to think he should recognise anyone is beyond belief. Like you said, he didn’t even recognise V for a year, you don’t see him complaining, besides he addressed it in a playful way when the members were allowed to raise issues in the buildings roof back in the day.
As to BSH not even talking to NJ, I say it’s the best move he has ever made. Clearly negotiations with MHJ have been ongoing for years and when BSH stepped down as CEO, it would have fallen to the new CEO Jiwon Park to continue the negotiations with MHJ. As the negotiations clearly went sour and resulted in this chaos, the worst thing BSH could have done was to interact with anyone from Ador as MHJ would have used it against him.
Looks to me like rich privileges of the pampered princesses of ADOR. Using hard earned BTS money to give her SINGLE artist everything and thereby get the parents onto her side of the warped and twisted truth. No other artist has complained in Hybe, only ADOR.
As to your point of using this as a teaching tool, I think this should also be used to teach the parents. Hybe has requested meetings with the parents to assure them that they would support NJ and the parents have refused the meetings. If they feel that their children were slighted by BSH then they should have agreed to attend the meeting, heard what Hybe had to say and used it to raise their concerns, yet they didn’t. Parents should lead by example and what they have led these girls to is to accept victim hood, have no self confidence and expect to have the rich pickings from Hybe money.

This came from an interview Bang had with CNN. Your version is a little different. Bang explained that he allows the labels to function independently, he clarified what right does he have to request a meeting with their artists? Very humble in my opinion & if he is not involved with their production, he does not interact with them. And when 17 members asked to meet him then they scheduled it.
I avoid using words complain and corrected because it tells a different story as if Bang was in the wrong & he is not.
Also I don’t follow 17 so I am not familiar with their interviews- if they mentioned it as well.

I think I read about what Seungkwan said.
When Pledis was bought they waited for someone to tell them what would change but nothing happened.
So they requested a meeting finally.
Bang told them that they already had a way of doing thins and he felt he had no right to interfer in it.
He was there because they asked.
@@ruthfischer7615 i remember BangPD interview with CNN about his relationship with Hybe groups.. and what i understood about his relationship with them is.. unless he is involve with the group's song production, he will not go around other company to check on things, or be friendly with the groups... He let the subsidiaries do their own thing. But then it's understandable if 17 thought that way cause maybe they think now that their company is under a different company the policy and rules gonna change.. and the toll of it will be a burden for the artists who are under it.

This happened to me where our top manager didn't respond when I said hello. What did I do? I introduced myself and identified which department I worked in. Result? He never forgot me and greeted me when we would cross each other's paths. 😊

Let's cut to the chase.....the BPD didn't speak to me is totally irrelevant to the court case MHJ vs HYBE. Just another diversion in a long line of things to keep people focus off the real issue. I believe there is someone or a group of people behind MHJ that is directing or supporting her efforts to bring HYBE down. So far her argument against HYBE is weak and can be easily disproved. So I ask myself why would a supposedly smart woman that was given an opportunity to break the glass ceiling in a male dominated space risk it all ( reputation, money and career) because if she fails she will lose big time. Unless she want because her backers have a deal with her stipulating no matter what happens they will take care of her.
Regarding NJ, they need to be quiet because the more they talk they appear to be ungrateful spoiled brats. If they debuted under another company with MHJ they would be just like the many other gg lost in the shuffle of many talented other groups fighting to be seen and heard. How can they demand more or the same from their company than what BTS has gotten. HYBE is the house that BTS built, make it make sense. I was always taught first you crawl then you walk and finally you are able to run. This entire situation should be a teachable moment for all parties involved.

Any parent wants their child to always come to them with their troubles or concerns, but it is the parent’s obligation to use good judgment when dealing with the situation. First educate your child that someone not speaking to them is not the worst thing that can happen to them in life or more specifically the entertainment business.
Being a Kpop idol is a business not at school class room or playground. If the parents were so concerned and unsure of what to do they should’ve talked to their lawyer or MHJ with the stipulation it stays confidential. If their wishes were not granted and their complaint was used as ammunition in a dispute between MHJ and the parent company then the parents have to make a hard decision on whether or not to trust MHJ. You never turn your child over to someone else to groom and control, it has been proven time and again it is the child that suffers the most.
JK said in his episode of Suchwita that he was lucky to have been chosen and surrounded by good people when he entered the industry because he didn’t know anything and would have followed their lead if they were bad people not knowing they were bad. Suga reinforced that statement by saying something like they were all pure of heart and looked out for him. V said BPD didn’t speak to him for 2 years, they made him sit on the sidelines before debut and said he was a secret weapon. How do you think he felt watching his team mates participating in promotional events and creating RUclips blogs about their journey as trainees? We never heard about V’s situation until years later, there was no public protest of unfair treatment. I’m sure all the boys had concerns but apparently they had better guidance than NJ.
I also don’t buy the they are girls/teenagers or this is not fair what do you mean by that statement. They are working in an adult industry that is not kind to minors that is why they need to surround themselves with knowledgeable professionals good people to teach them the business and it starts with their parents. Life can be hard but it’s the parents or caregivers that must give their child the tools they need to navigate through its ups and downs.

The ones who pretends it is "the worst" is MHJ - she uses it for her public campaign - not the parents or the Idols.
The parents don't know the entertainment business either. They can only hope that they are told the truth - which they are not.
Is it so strange that the parents believe her? She is the only one they talked to after all (and maybe her team). They can not magically read her thoughts. On the surface she looks believable.
There is a reason why so many Korean people do believe her even now.
When BTS debuted the label had a dept of ca. 75 million USD and nothing to balance this. Taehyung was used to generate more talk. It's a marketing trick.

And since they were pretty much no one there was also no protest. Today that is not possible with a HYBE group. It is also unnecessary because they have the money now.

Sounds like the girls might be high on their own press. Bang Si Hyuk talked in an interview that BTS is like his children because he was completely involved with their debut. Now that HYBE has grown so successfully, other groups have their own teams and Bang is not personally involved. These girls will grow in maturity and confidence as well as respect and gratitude.
I thought Bang PD stepped down as CEO of Hybe? He went back to being a producer, so why are they complaining he didn't greet them? Are they complaining about the new CEO not greeting them as well?

It is possible that many ppl in the company greet him and he didn’t realize who they were. So many ppl must greet him all the time. I mean he has given them/ MHJ/Ador so much. I’ve seen ppl comment how he hates them or is jealous but it doesn’t make sense. This all started with MHJ getting greedy.

@@marlypeai think he already apologized after V confronted him...and it happened when Tae was still a trainee (2011-2012) i think with BangPD personality he is not a Micromanager.. He lets the Training Team handle the trainee, Management team handles the recruiting of new trainees. As funny as this sounds... Even Suga was recruited TWICE cause BigHit Management team doesn't know Suga was already a trainee in Bighit. So if those staff don't recognize the trainees, do people expect the CEO to know ALL the names of the trainees?? And it's not only 7 trainees they have more than 7...

people just believe an unnamed email. these fans are stupid. we can't expect more from some high school kids. most of these haters are just kids typing away behind their screens without really knowing what they're on about. they don't know shit about corporate stuff. They're like gossip machines, spreading rumors faster than wildfire. MHJ's telling lies to boost her standing before the shareholders' meetings. If she can get fans on her side, she might convince the judge to rule for her and stop HYBE from kicking her out. In Korea, judges can face trouble if people don't like their decisions, and MHJ's counting on that.
Clearly when somebody like Bang dies this it is a deliberate message. So it is not the greeting. But question why something so simple he has done for all the other grps he has not for new jeans. It is a powerful yet subtle message. Perhaps u need to think where I work in corporate world - if yr boss deliberately outcasts u.

he is not interfering with adors way of working on nj, that is their job alone. he has no obligation to interact with anyone except his own direct employees and groups. you do a job that your boss does not need to check on regularly, you never see each other or work closely together, yet you think you deserve to get a formal greeting in the morning, and its a subtle message of disrespect if he doesn't? then you dont sound like a pleasant employee. that sounds rather entitled and childish.
All of this noise is making me despise MHJ, NJ'S and their parents even more. The group that put Hybe/Bighit on the map and made it even possible for these little girls to exist on the label is BTS and Bang P.D. is dealing with ALL SEVEN members, that he has an extreme bond with, serving their country plus juggling everything else! NJ'S how about having compassion and just being grateful for the opportunity.
I have alot of faults with Bang P.D., but this is not one of them. MHJ, is a deceitful individual and because the company started investigating her shady ways now she's trying to ruin, not only Hybe, but simultaneously it's hurting NJ'S and the kpop industry. I remember that during the promotion period (2 weeks?) a Le Sserafim member said that she slep about 16 hours altogether. That is a little over an hour a day.
That is overwhelming.
Everything you do it critised but you also get overwhelming love while a lot of the stuff you are confronted with has nothing to do with what you know or do.

@@Bts20194 I have no doubt she already has financial backers. She wouldn't even started this battle with HYBE unless she had several backers for her own company later. She is ready to break away from HYBE if she doesn't get the money she wants. She already mentioned Backers from Singapore and Soudi in the game plan HYBE discovered.
MHJ needs to take her financial backers and start from scratch with her own music label and her own resources.
NJ is a huge investment that shareholders have a right to. In my opinion. It seems MHJ missed a few key points in her contact with HYBE. She is complaining about things that are standard practice in the entertainment industry. Not just KPOP. Instead of throwing a fit, I think she should assess the situation and look for a solution within all the drama. She is selfish. New Jeans are kids who have not matured, and she is setting a bad impression on them. Unfortunately she is not the first manager/CEO in the entertainment industry to manipulate young artists, and she will not be the last if things don't change.

I've listened to both songs and I find questionable similarities between the music, not just 30 seconds! Yes, the lyrics are very different, but the sound is at times throughout the NJ song almost identical to the Shakatak song!

I feel bad for the New Jeans girls being caught in the middle of this. I totally agree with ignoring female idols outside of a professional setting for his own protection. From what I see, he only interacts with the other female idols while working together. Full disclosure- I am not from an Asian country. I have worked for a large company of 700 where the CEO would not recognize all the employees. I would only be able to recognize one or two dozen staff. Is it reasonable to expect the Chair of a conglomerate such as HYBE to recognize all the idols in that organization. I believe MJH has been too close to the NJ members and their families so that the expectations for familiarity have been raised to unreasonable or perhaps unhealthy levels.
I’ve worked in corporations with over 150 subsidiaries in over 100 countries with 10,000 to 50,000 employees. In some of these companies you didn’t want them to recognise you, acknowledge your or know your name. The reason being that you’d be first on the list of redundancies. I’ve seen in a global private investment bank where some would rush into the rest room to hide just to avoid being made redundant. Lol

Shakata are a British Funk Jazz group who are still touring and have a huge following in Japan. I've been to their concerts in the 80's here in the UK.
Exact! At present the group Shakata has not been credited...I listened to the 2 songs and it is obvious that there is plagiarism!! This woman does not lack the nerve to criticize HYBE for what she herself really did... On the other hand, the editor says that she cannot comment because there is no "streaming" The MV has been out since April 26 and has had over 33 million views!! I think Min hee jin would have had time to credit the music to Shakata!!

I always look forward to your videos. Thank you for your insights. I am saddened by this mess and am frankly embarrassed at the tactics MHJ is using. As a woman, I feel she has thrown away all the strides the women before her have worked for in gaining the respect and acceptance of rights in a male-dominated industry and society as a whole. IMHO only.
Thank you for a dose of common sense. I have had dealings with narcissists like MHJ. All appeals are made to emotion and everything is a game to manipulate others emotions. The only way to deal with them is where they cannot appeal to emotion and must face facts, like in court. Hybe is finally doing this. MHJ asked for independence, got it, and now complains about being ignored. I hope NJs gets away from her as fast as possible and their parents stay out of this. A reminder to everyone; about 10% of the population has narcissistic tendencies so that means one out of every ten people you meet is toxic. Learn to recognize them, avoid them if possible but learn how deal with them if you can't avoid them. The timing of this is purposeful, it was done when all of BTS was out of the picture.
I used to work at an architectural firm of less than 50 people. I was there for 5 years, and the owner had absolutely no clue who worked for him. He recognized a few of the project managers and one computer guy... and every year at the year-end holiday party, would thank the wife of one of the architects for the great job she did that year (she apparently made an impression on him as that was the only time he ever saw her & he never said anything to poor Jack, his actual employee 😄😄).
I, also, have been accused of being rude at times because I am focused on something & am really good at blocking out distractions. I can't imagine the millions of things going on in Bang's head at any given time that might cause him not to greet someone.
So I absolutely agree with you. If you feel slighted, talk to the person directly, or just realize people have their own lives & get over it.

I seriously started laughing when I saw that BSH didn't greet NJ. Like this is EXTREMELY CHILDISH. My TM often doesn't respond to me, sometimes for even days. There are 20 members in my team and he handles everyone and respond to them as and when necessary. So what should I do, start crying that they didn't respond to me??
There is such sense of entitlement that NJ, their parents and MHJ has got. When Hybe was continuously trying to contact them, they did not even bother to respond and snubbed them and now when BSH chose not to "greet" them, he became the villain??

I am so glad i'm not into girl groups and the drama they bring to the table. My only exception being Dreamcatcher but they kinda remind me a lot of BTS tbh. Not sure about Hybe but Bighit was always superior in the past when it came to the percentage they paid their artists compared to all of the other companies. NJ is paid higher earnings and has had superior living/working conditions handed to them on a plate right from debut. BTS had to earn those same conditions with BigHit over years through their own self sacrifice and hard work ethics. It's a big eye opener of the lack of humility and over inflated sense of entitlement displayed by MHJ, the parents and to some extent the girls themselves. To then further complain that their superior renumeration isn't enough and the Chairman didn't acknowledge them in greetings is taking the pee to the extreme. Where is the simple humility and gratitude for their fortunate circumstances in any of this? BTS have both in spades and continues to be thankful to this day for everything. I like Bighit's company ethos and I actually rather like it's founder Bang Si Hyuk too. I think BSH's heart is in the right place, and I am glad he sealed off BigHit to protect it and BTS. However Hybe as a whole I admit to being unsure of as it seems to just be a huge conglomerate money hungry machine with no relatable ethos.
I agree V said Bang SiHyuk failed to recognise him repeatedly or acknowledge him in the begining. That's when the company was small and not that many people. That suggests A) he's just not that good at facial recognition or like me B) he gets involved in his own thoughts and would walk past his mother if they don't draw attention to themselves. Now Hybe is a swarming mass of people it would exacerbate either issue. Plus people must be trying to talk to him all the time. It may have actually have seemed importuning to Bang SiHyuk.
And BTS was the only group they had back then.
In regards to Bang Si Hyuk ignoring one of them on the elevator. As a CEO of a huge company I imagine that you would have a lot on your mind. He may have just been thinking about some problem he was dealing with. As a person that often thinks about things as I carry on in life (ie walking around). I probably come across as rude to others but in reality I am having a full blown conversation in my head about what i am thinking about and don't notice stuff going on around me.

I use to work for an AC company. Making AC units. My foreman one day was rather disrespectful. But i couldnt address it right away. I waited for break time. He was in the cafeteria. I sat next to him and quitely told him that i did not appreciate what he said. I wasnt rude i was not loud. No one heard our conversation. Regardless off what level of authority he held what he said was not appropriate. I made my self clear about my stance on the issue. And we never had to go through that again. Its very simple. If these girls didnt like how bp treated them all they had to do was meet him and explain.
I think Bang SH could have had things on his mind and didn’t even realise that he ‘ignored’ anyone.

I’m sorry but may I remind all OG Army if the now infamous clip of Taehyun standing on the roof of Big Hit reminding PD of his name since he couldn’t remember it for two years! The man has the weight of the world in his shoulders and not just one group of artist to worry about. Or, how about the thousands of office and background people he comes in contact daily. Seriously, young ladies and parents and all you fans GROW UP! The world doesn’t revolve around you.

About being the first gg of Hybe...I think at the time it was important for mhj and the parents because they would see this as a way to attract attention and get the much needed clout for a rookie group so it would’ve been a source of great disappointment and stress since the couldn’t see the future and see that it was actually a blessing in disguise for them. Again they are looking for things to complain about. But as we now know...debuting after lsfm worked well for them because they avoided the scrutiny and pressure the first gg of Hybe got. They were able to debut with not much pressure, as something of a surprise that everyone thought they were a breath of Fre ash air and mhj was seen as a genius! It all worked out in their favour, but of course they need to act like they were being mistreated so they have to blow up this situation!
They also got way less criticism cause they didn't debut a 12/13 years old lol💀
New jeans should be very careful, when Ador folds, Shi hyuk may decide that they are not a good fit for big hit or hybe.

I’ve been in elevators with my CEO, but never expected a hello. He probably wasn’t even sure I was one of his employees. The girls of New Jeans are very young and have been taken advantage of by narcissistic Min Heejin to fight her own battle. Furthermore, I remember v saying Bang PD didn’t recognize him. Everyone laughed. Girls (of New Jeans) you need to distance yourself from Min Heejin before you’re completely brainwashed!

I haven't seen any detail about the "not greeting" incident, other than it was in an elevator. I wonder what the full situation really was? During my career, I was the top HR executive at a 3,500 employee company. I know at least once I didn't greet an employee because he called me out on it a few days later when I greeted him. He was relatively new and I asked how he was doing. He said it shocked him, because he thought I was mean. I asked why and he said I never smiled or greeted people and just walked past others. I apologized and thought hard about it, realizing that most times I was out of my office was to either handle an emergency, an employee situation, or heading to a meeting. At those times I had a million things going through my head and had no awareness of other things. Even in the elevator I didn't pay attention to others, unfortunately. That's my own story. But I also wonder if they were alone, if he was reviewing something. If he even heard her.
I agree it would have been a great teaching moment. Maybe, most importantly, that you shouldn't take offense when none is meant. ( A good lesson for MJH and fans, too.)
Don't even talk to NJ's fans. There is a comment said we are bullying by teaching them from wrong and right. It's not a good thing for kids to be this successful when they don't have parents who are not in their right mindset.

Bang PD did mention in an interview few years back, he only ever close to any group is BTS due to their struggles/ history together...he admitted even TXT members also he is not that close..most probably because now he is superrrr busyman as compared to earlier days with BTS due to their "not so popular" group status

I agree the girls should not be used in the fight and should be taken care of. However, although they are young, they are old enough to understand everything HYBE did for them, and they seem to be ignoring this. They being ungrateful and unreasonable does not sit well with me.
I saw a report yesterday that indicated the letter from the "parents" of the New Jeans girls did not write the letter that was forwarded to the company. There is some sort of electronic signature that indicates it was written by staff at Ador. Has anyone else heard this and if yes, is this report to be trusted?

The report I heard said the forensic audit of the computers from the office was where traces of the complaint letter was found. We will see the veracity of this soon. The board meeting and anticipated canning of the leadership of Ador this month is going to be a mess. So much drama.

feeling mistreated and victims when Hybe resources have helped NJ. MHJ has isolated these girls and they have never acknowledged, recognized nor shown gratitude to Hybe and now expects BPD to be friendly with them. And if in case BPD was friendly with them, for sure this will be given another meaning and be an issue. I see all these as MHJ's tactics. Things were given to this group in a platter with the help of Hybe and this is what they do, including the parents. Such ungratefulness. If they feel like victims, I feel they should just leave Hybe. and do these girls and their parents expect BPD to be close to them just like how he is with BTS. they must be dreaming. what BTS and BPD have been through in those early years have defined the kind of personal relationship that they have. and he produces for them so they have a working relationship as well. I would think same working relationship as well with other Bighit artists since BPD still gets involved with BH.
