Why would we need 389 port on edge server? EDGE doesn't need to communicate to AD,that's the whole purpose of introducing the edge /edge subscription.

Dear expert, our edge server is diffrent network with AD server (AD in LAN zone, edge in DMZ zone). So that they are not able to ping each other, in edge server, name resolution is not working. How i can fix it ? May i need to routing or use host file replace DNS? Thanks you for your time

I think you need to allow tcp/udp 53 for DNS on your firewall.
