I'm an Alaskan Indian, Tlingit tribe. God revealed this same thing to me about 5 years ago. I really wasn't raised in what is considered "Tlingit culture." My mom was saved before I was born and raised my siblings and I in church. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was 9. I am 65 now. God began to reveal to me that the Tlingit culture is demonic and that belief in it didn't lead to God and His salvation from sins. The "culture " is very ritualistic and seems to put the people in bondage. I don't practice any of the belief rituals and when I go to a native funeral I will leave the service when this happens in the service. No one in the tribe really understands this and they think that I am so rude! But God brought me to his life and light through Jesus and the holy spirit has been guiding me through this walk with him. I love God and I am glad that he chose me to be his daughter! Thank you for talking about this and I ask God to cover you both with the precious blood of Jesus and surround you with his warrior angels as you boldly declare God's holy will for the world. This message will be preached and God will have his way with the native people of America. He loves us so much!

I used to carve full-size Canoes and would carve Totem Pole Iconography all over them. I used to paint a lot of that stuff as well. When I think back, it makes my stomach churn. I remember a large sheet metal native mounted like an elk in full regalia I did for an art show. It was basically a demonic-looking beast. Yuuuuk! Thankfully, our Father has lots of patience. But His patience with Mankind is about to run out. Stay strong and look up. We are about to fly any day now. I can't wait to see Jesus in the clouds with His angels. What a sight to behold.

I’ve always been uncomfortable around medicine (even BC) and would leave the house when medicine man was in the house. After receiving Christ, I was in predominantly native church and we took the beautiful part of culture (I.e., hymns, dance and food) and discarded the medicine as a common ground approach to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you for asking this important question. Foods are ok as long as we leave out things like ash and pollen. As for the dance for instance..I've seen someone say they were dancing for God doing the eagle dance, claiming it was the Holy Spirit... It doesn't point to God. It's roots are not correct as well. Previously they had danced that specifically in plaza in the past. As for hymns we would need more clarification to correctly answer you. We can never take anything tainted and worship in spirit and in truth. We are to never mix the things of the Lord with other things. It leads to error. God's foundation is true and stands alone it does not need to be compared to anything else,His instructions are complete and for every tribe and Nation. It is the Holy Spirit that draws us to Him. I’ve always been uncomfortable around medicine (even BC) and would leave the house when medicine man was in the house. After receiving Christ, I was in predominantly native church and we took the beautiful part of culture (I.e., hymns, dance and food) and discarded the medicine as a common ground approach to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Your thoughts on that?
Thank you for asking this important question. Foods are ok as long as we leave out things like ash and pollen. As for the dance for instance..I've seen someone say they were dancing for God doing the eagle dance, claiming it was the Holy Spirit... It doesn't point to God. It's roots are not correct as well.
Previously they had danced that specifically in plaza in the past. As for hymns we would need more clarification to correctly answer you. We can never take anything tainted and worship in spirit and in truth. We are to never mix the things of the Lord with other things. It leads to error. God's foundation is true and stands alone it does not need to be compared to anything else,His instructions are complete and for every tribe and Nation. It is the Holy Spirit that draws us to Him. Not our traditions of men. I hope we were able to answer your questions. 😊

You've been aware of his ministry, I had a lot of traditional denomination from youth to sort through, when I first became aware of their ministry, took me quite a while to understand "remitting sins" but when I went back to Genesis 4:7, and saw God's definition of sin, it made sense, get the spirit to "stand down" and allow the individual to see their way to The Cross of Christ
