First leg of my transcontinental Amtrak journey from New York to Los Angeles. I've been on the Lake Shore a few times but this is the first time over the entire route. The scenery is average but the schedule is great and it's a pretty fast train.

As thrilled as I was to do that rear view yesterday, I must say that compartment has no ventilation. It was a warm day yesterday and I had to revive myself in the passenger compartment at station stops. I prefer a standard vestibule, but even there it probably doesn’t ventilate well. This is something that shouldn’t be done in warm or hot weather.
yeah makes sense, I've only done them in the fall or winter so ironically I thought it was a little cold in there. at station stops I also went to my seat to get water.

Next time you should do a full complete ride without the skips/cute like from NYC to Buffalo or Cleveland
no point doing them in darkness, I did the eastbound Cleveland - NY bc it was light for most of the way. I also did a complete ride NY-Albany but idk when I'll get around to posting that, if ever.
I’m going to try 43 again on Wednesday. I didn’t know there were two doors in the back like that. What’s in between the doors? hopefully I won’t suffocate. I’ll blow a gasket if I see another private party 😁
alright, good luck! I know they have fire extinguishers and a backup hose there and just close the side doors if any of them pop open

Ans you should tell me how you able to put little videos on the bottom while the original full screen one is playing
in iMovie you put the little clip on top of the full screen video then when it says "cutaway" click it and select "picture in picture" from the menu
