The images in this video represent the path of creative exploration I've been on the past couple of years. Turning towards creating using the technique of multiple exposure ICM in early 2022, my artistry with ICM has continued to expand and evolve. Put together in this way, the images are a visual journey showing this evolution of my artistic vision.
I've also had the opportunity to travel more the past two years, and the images seen in this video are a visual exploration of the places I've spent time ~ the US, the UK, Ireland, Canada, Mexico, and New Zealand.
All images seen in this video were created in-camera using the creative technique known as Intentional Camera Movement…either as single exposures or as multiple exposures. Minimal post-processing has been applied to finish the images according to my creative vision.
I hope you enjoy my reimagined world and the beauty I see through my eyes as a creative photographer.
This video was originally created as a featured digital art show to be seen on the big screen prior to a number of films during the Refocus Film Festival between 12-15 October 2023, in Iowa City, Iowa. The Refocus Film Festival celebrates the Art of Adaptation, and ICM photography certainly lends itself to this concept, as it reimagines and reinterprets the world in a unique way.
