Well I don't know off hand, I'd have to re watch it to get that. I do agree most films should have one but it was a well made tribute to neo-noir cinema with funny well written performances. I mean it did get a standing ovation at Cannes
I personally don't care if a film got a standing ovation or was booed at Cannes. That being said the at the end RDJ literally breaks the 4th wall and tries to give a sort of message/theme but he stops because there isn't any. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is what you call a shaggy dog story. The fun is in the journey. And it is a fun flick. But it's far from great imo. It's like a good turn off your brain watch once movie.
This movie's quite a lot of fun. The plot's a bit of a mess but the performances are good and the script is funny enough that you don't really notice. There are very few films with Robert Downey Jr. in them that I can stand [and even fewer for Val Kilmer]. However they are both very funny in this. Yes the self-reflexiveness gets a bit tiresome by the end, but by that point you've enjoyed the majority of what is a fun and funny movie :) :)
Director Shane Black’s writing career has refreshed himself with starting his directing career as he makes this film thrilling, funny, well acted, stylish & A well directed comedic murder mystery. (81%) (4/5 stars) (positive)
Convoluted, confused and contrived. Not as funny or as interesting as it thinks it is. The only good thing about this is Kilmer, who is great but under used.
I think Val Kilmer is Mark Kermode's American doppelganger.
Think about it.
Solid film just watched it, thought it was a good time; suave, funny and well done🤷🏻♂️
Strongly disagree, it's one of my favourite films and I believe it has plenty of substance
Ok. What was the point of the movie?
What do you mean what was the point? Like the theme?
Ross Malone Yes. The main theme. If there was a deeper message what was it?

He was pretty funny Willow too.
came to say the same thing, Kilmer made his comedy bones out of the gate

Well now I'm just imagining a fat Mark Kermode with long hair...
Hello .
Such a good film. Kilmer is a great and underrated actor. RDj always gives a stellar performance. Difficult - allegedly. Everyone’s a f critic
Give actors their due. Val Kilmer
Wow, blind and daft review!
RDJ irritating? HA
Thinks Robert Downey Jr is annoying, hopefully not wondering why there are only 2000 subscribers. Good review though
Rjd is an awesome actor. This movie was bad.
