Cost of living is crazy right now. What are some things that make it hard to survive in America today?

Im not from US, but there is a lot of videos about America shows me for quite time, damn, there is some sh@t going in your country...
I think that probably the solution of this problem could be in some sort of generation adaptation: parents shouldnt kick they kids out of home when they turn 18, there must be some help to get real world and job experience to stand on legs. Also education price at your country sounds horrible, 30k dollars? I would never sign up on that, it only means that I would have to return that money for about 10 years, or maybe even more... Maybe if you can't get it for free, it some of that even existing in US, it just dont worth it. And maybe any chance people can boycott all that stuff you just tell here? Like, people will have to low prices if nobody want to pay it. Its like a story about Reddit and GameStop, there is anything possible in your country? College protest, student co-op... I think nobody will beat you or put into prison if you create a protest movement, instead of my country... Is it?

Thank you for your comment and suggestions. Yes, the cost of education is a real problem in this country. Many people believed the lie that you need to get a college degree in order to find a good job. However that is slowly changing as you can study a trade and find a job that way too. Community colleges are also more affordable, but then the job won't hire you over a better person with a better school degree. Yes people can boycott, we can refuse to operate like this. I am affraid Gen Z is feeling the effect of the broken system we have in this country. Boycotting is a good idea, it works and causes change.

It's not supposed to be, but it is. You compete for the best jobs, the best schools. The best apartments. It's all a competition.
