I used to work with enscape and lumion for years but switched over to D5 a year ago. Never looking back! The quality and speed are amazing . Love the customer support too
D5 all the way the amount of social engagement and the fact they are listening to their community and updating frequently with the community in mind has made D5 shine !
They call me crazy at the university because I use Unreal Engine 5 and a Blender)). Everyone considers them the most difficult, but on the contrary, they did not seem so difficult to me)) Plus, the teachers appreciated my work at Unreal and praised my courage to work in something new and challenging. Unfortunately, I can't show them the process of work and the scene itself, since not every laptop can pull it off, and the program itself weighs a lot. That's why I show screenshots from my phone during consultations. And I work on a powerful PC. Honestly, I'm very happy with Unreal)))
Living up to your channel name, very insightful comparisions, the AI generated ones felt like they had a certain polished aesthetic that's hard to replicate, D5 still looks the very impressive.
I liked the approach of giving yourself only 30 min to see what can be done in a hurry. The best images were done in Enscape, D5 , Twinmotion and Unreal. If you are an architect that don't care too much about hiperrealism and want to make videos out of every project, then Enscape is a breeze, also the lightest one for a laptop. The most balanced option for me is D5, if you push it it´s posible to get Vray like images in a short time. If you are a Viz artist then might be better to take the long learning curve with Unreal of Blender.
honestly i use sketchup-twinmotion-unreal then prome ai, for interior desing then i go directly to unreal 5 and import models i find online on to it and just trow some quixel texures
I found Blender very easy to learn and understand, and it is the first polygon modelling soft I used (I have a CAD background). That's very interesting to me that you find blender hard to use. I guess, It depend on the person.
Great comparison! I wish you would include Corona Render in future videos. For me, I have been an old fashion Vray user +10 years and Twinmotion user for the past 3 years. Nothing beats Vray in interior render, but seeing Corona and other offline render engines nowadays makes me think of switching. For interior render I have not seen any good results from Real-time render engines like D5 and Twinmotion, they are good for exterior but not interiors, this is a future comparison point you could include.
@@thearchitecturegrind lumen is providing way faster renders than path tracing these days... It needs a bit more work on the reflection level but it's so close to the actual realistic effect that we all r searching for...

you can do much more with minecraft, you onlly used 10% of the software. There are Texture shaders, Mods and extra free software to build fast in Minecraft. I work in a architecture office and play minecraft too.
I dont think u give Blender the right chance, of course it requires assets and libraries, it's backed by communities from all over the world, it was made to cover all aspects not just architecture so ppl need to download the assets they need , but best of all that most of the required assets are for free, and yes there is a learning curve so it may not be beginner friendly but if u hit it, u got it :)

Great to hear!
D5 Discord channel, great!
Does not support orthographic axonometric rendering

They are doing a great job of engaging with the community and updating!
Very informative video, I really liked how the D5 render scene turned out. I think you did a great job overall explaining all the software.
Glad it was helpful!

ok crzy wamen
super cool comparison
Thank you!
I'm learning Twinmotion!
I will staring next week

After using all this programs I can say that Twinmotion is the best to people that only have a minimum requirements
@@leonardoaguilerahonduras2067 thank you for sharing, that will be helpful for others to see

Yeah you don't have to go too crazy, but that seems to be a good workflow.
I found Blender very easy to learn and understand, and it is the first polygon modelling soft I used (I have a CAD background). That's very interesting to me that you find blender hard to use. I guess, It depend on the person.
blender is better than D5 by miles if you know how use it its sooooo easy to learn
Blender is the diffently not easy to learn it provides complex tools and modeling workflow compared to other softwares
but it's worth learning it
Twinmotion always on top! Great video!
I didn't expect you to include minecraft but you should have used SEUS PTI shaders mod with Umsoea texture pack.
what version of lumion did you use? and how powerful does a laptop need to be to download it? cause i might be going for it
Lumion 2023. It’s need to have a lot of ram and super good graphics card
Can anyone tell me about D5 vs Twinmotion in terms of rendering quality?
Well them both are great it all depends on the individual rendering skills
Great comparison! I wish you would include Corona Render in future videos. For me, I have been an old fashion Vray user +10 years and Twinmotion user for the past 3 years. Thank you! I unfortunately didn’t have the compatibility with corona. I agree twinmotion and d5 produce some great exterior renders
Hey I have logged in lookx ai and now I want to log out could you please tell me how to do it'll be really helpful for me.

Super in-depth video, into good sections. Thanks!
great job! thank for the video!
Thank you!
unreal and blender you will need a 4090 it has all the power you would ever need
thats what i use
Yeah, that would work great
for minecraft you need to use shaders
Blender=d world of confusion 😅.... I'm still sticking with Twinmotion... even if I was raised on vray
How do you like the lumen rendering in twinmotion?

I used to work with lumion but switched to Minecraft as I have no fucking idea about architecture (I'm 12)
😂😂
This is super cool and informative video

why make a video like this if you don't know how to use these programs?
It is to show beginners which options provide the most value. Without knowing a lot of the software or having much time
