- Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary - A must see! Very educational! My mother and I took the Interactive Tour on February 12, 2017 and found it to be very educational, and enjoyable as well (even though we ended up with very high and cold winds). I highly recommend touring this facility as the wofldogs are extremely well taken care of and all of the staff we encountered were very knowledgeable and very nice.

I have heard of this place and it sure looks like it is amazing to visit.
We often hear them at the lake in Saskatchewan and run into their tracks nonstop while riding the Side by Side.
Such a beautiful animal and incredibly smart.

This looks beautiful. I would love to visit this place and see those beautiful creatures in Person, sadly I live in Southern California, and it would be a major trip but maybe one worth taking ^_^

Please people stop buying wolfdogs because you love wolves and always wanted one as a pet. These animals need alot time, patience, positive training and space. They do not cope well being left for long periods of time. They are left traumatised if you suddenly decide you can't cope or your circumstances change and you have to give them up. If you want a dog there are plenty in dog shelters that need you.
Teach You its true! I agree wholeheartedly with you. But I am very grateful there is a sanctuary available for those who don’t listen to your sage advice.
