Hello, Does the Envy 6055e print colors? I just purchased one, & it is only allowing me to print Black & white, even thou there are colored cartridges?? Thanks
This could be an issue with the driver settings or the installed drivers. I’m assuming this a Mac? Ensure that your printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:

Hi Helen! When you connect to a VPN server, all your traffic is rerouted through a remote network. When you are connected the internet your printer will still be connected to your local network. As a result, you won't be able to connect to your printer.

Worse printer of all time. Tech seemed to blame me for not using HP cartridges. I use the cartridges which were sent to me by Instant ink. I have had issues from day one, it stops printing in the middle of a project. The WIFI strength showed 4 bars, yet I could not get it to work. Called for assistance numerous time to no avail. I hate this thing, what a waste of money.
I just viewed your video. This is the WORST printer I have ever owned. I have owned other hp printers but this one...Please, please beware. Thanks for your review and clear instructions but it is too much of a headache. Too temperamental.
I needed to see this as a reminder. I stopped buying HP years ago because of the monthly fees and continuous printing problems. When you pay for a service monthly, it's easy to get frustrated when things go wrong. I gave it away. :( It became exhausting.
If their print cartridges was mandatory compliant only via HP, that would be call a monopoly. I've have used HP printers since 1998 never was I force to use only HP anything. Today's printer are built not to last so to CYA purchase the printer protection plan.
I have a paper jam on my new HP6055e to the the point where I need to open a section to clear the jam. The screws seem to be a specialized screwdriver. Any input on this?
Yes, you can print from an iPhone using Bluetooth if your printer supports Bluetooth connectivity. Check your printer's specifications and settings to enable Bluetooth pairing with your iPhone. Keep in mind that not all printers have Bluetooth capability, so make sure your printer is compatible before attempting to print via Bluetooth.

Brett, Thank you for the advisory concerning this printer. My neighbor had purchased this printer a few months back and will be setting it up today. I offered to help with any problems that may come up. I certainly will refer them to this video FIRST so that they can better understand what steps need to happen ahead of time .
I have had more than enough trouble from this printer and I will avoid HP in the future. Thanks for the reassurance that it isn't just me.

You can use regular retail cartridges. The service is not mandatory.

So many issues with getting printing done. Why have they made it so user unfriendly?
This is very unfortunate and in a lot of cases people don’t find out until they’ve purchased the printer.

No one should buy this printer it’s the worst. Once it stops printing you’ll never get it to print again. Do t buy this printer. Waste of money

I've dealt with some bad technology that doesn't work, if you had to restart it multiple times then you might as well not even bother using it.
