Once you remove the clear coat from the forks use fine grade wire wool to give a brushed finish and yes those gaiter clamps have got to go!

Various diameter PVC pipe work great as a seal driver.

For an all black Gaiter? I'd simply put on a nice large black Ziptie (or two) at the bottom there, instead of those ugly clamps!!! : >)

Really awesome stuff. I’ve got a 79 KZ400B and I’ve learned a ton from this series. Here’s kind of a noob question: It looks like the bike is lifted directly from oil pan. Is that right? I’ve got some front end work ahead and don’t really have a great way to hoist the bike from above. A Jack under the oil pan sure would be easy but I’ve a little iffy about that. Thanks.

This is the exact same process for a kz305 as well

Cody, on the top of the fork, which way does the dot face in the triple tree? My fork tubes have a dot at the top. My guess is it signifies what direction the tube faces in the tree.
    Your thoughts?

hello I really like your channel I have a kz750 but it needs air in the fork, do you have any information about the pressure in the system?
