Your course was very helpful to this 71 year old beginner. I enjoy using the micro boards like ESP32 but was often confused by the source code. A great deal has become more understandable for me now. Thanks!
C++ was used in all my lower division classes at my university . It teaches the fundamentals of types, pointers, etc. I recommend everyone here, many being in the web space following brads work, to look into c++ for better knowledge of fundamentals and learning more about memory. It will make you so much better in any language. This was an amazing video

Nice video! I think one of the greatest challenges for anyone coming to C/C++ from JS is, "why it matters". The same stuff is "so much easier" in JS, and in C++ its "so much code for just a terminal". But I think you did a great job!
Yeah they are very different languages. C++ is extremely powerful and used in game engines, etc. stuff you would not use JS for. It is quite the change for this channel, but I want to branch out into other areas of programming

I'm only about 10 minutes into the video, but I already get these sense that this is more of a demonstration of C++ development, rather than an explanation of the language. Glossed over the main premise of what the "std" standard library is, and why you'd want to use it; just casually dropped the "const" keyword without explaining mutability; etc., etc. I don't know if anyone watching this will leave feeling like they actually understand C++ confidently enough to code in it.

I would say that your decision to use light visual studio theme is great. There are many nations, where high speed internet is not available, hence if they watch RUclips videos made in VS dark theme at low quality , it's very hard to see the text . I would like to suggest always use VS light theme for RUclips videos. Thanks for the free lecture.👍👌

Haha same reason here ! I didn't want to do a 10 hours course so this video was just perfect. Now i can go further with unreal engine. Few years ago, I did program a 2d engine in java with lwjgl (the graphic card api also used by minecraft) but here i didn't want to reinvent the wheel with shadows, ray tracing etc ... i just want to prototype an rts.

Awesome tutorial video. Pleasant voice, clear, concise, and easy to learn code examples. Having a short attention span, these videos are a godsend. Lessons from other tutorials often overcomplicate things with complex jargons ngl.

It'd be really great if you can make a video tutorial on a full-blown C++ project. I feel that more than syntax, trying to make a full project (which includes, all compiling, building, linking, header files stuff etc...) is the most difficult part of C++.

you seem to be forgetting the open world game hidden in the files once you have all the modules installed
Couple minutes is only phraseology, means nothing time determining, she pauses video, so no one can know, d/l can take up to half hour or more
