Awesome video @CreateToday! Thanks for taking the time to look into Webstudio and share it with your audience. We're right around the corner from releasing our new component update, allowing us to create things like menus, popups, tooltips, etc. Looking forward to seeing your future content! - Alex from Webstudio
Open source is proving to be the way to go. Many companies have raised prices recently, some by an insane amount, leaving people trapped. Note, I'm a Webstudio core team member but became a passionate user before I joined the team.
@@Vicureview No, Webstudio is solely focused on providing the best frontend visual builder and giving the tools to integrate with other tools such as headless CMSs. I personally wouldn't leave for lack of templates... rather what the builder is capable of. Duda is creating a new website builder that is solely flex based, so there's still hope and there's still great use cases for Duda.
"There's problems with every website builder." You could have stopped right there Boss.. very true. Interesting stuff. Wix has something new too (Wix Studio) selling point is some auto AI responsiveness across platforms and breakpoints, lots of new stuff coming out, interesting to see a year or two down the road when the dust settles. Funny how sitebuilders get real dated, real fast... looking forward to your stuff on Web Studio.
IKR! They are creating the ability to connect to other CMSs so in theory you'll be able to use any CMS (if a developer creates the connection). Webstudio will at least be making the first connection, CMS TBD at this time.
Hmmm....interesting. Definitely gonna keep an eye on it. Seems too young still though. Not having any kind of no-code animations or interactions is a big thing as well as CMS. Those class features seem like such a obvious thing. It's crazy that you can't do that in Webflow.
Yes it natively handles forms. But to do something with the form submission (like send it to you), you need to integrate it with something. You can do this easily with Airtable (webstudio.is/blog/webstudio-forms-to-airtable) or send it pretty much anywhere with n8n (webstudio.is/blog/webstudio-forms-with-n8n-automation)
Website builders suck. So I built my own. 👉ruclips.net/video/5EAxMElsX0Y/видео.html👈 (Webstudio)

Right on thanks Alex! Can't wait for the new release. You'll be seeing more of me 🙃
Please have a heavy focus on good SEO options
Absolutely, this is planed for november this year. @@JackTheStrippa
Agree. Webstudio is looking really nice. Hope they can pull it off.
Heck yea!
Thanks John! I've been waiting for an open source website builder for ages! Thanks!
This is THE ONE
It's February of 2024 and Webstudio still does not support Firefox and Safari. This is a total deal breaker for me.
Get my webstudio course! shop.createtoday.io/l/webstudio-essentials Go from zero to complete website (including SEO)!
Wanted to take a look at your Webstudio course, but the link keeps throwing up a security error?
How does this WebStudio compared to the other builders now in August 2024?

Nice video. Bullish on Web Studio. Excited to see how they progress.
Appreciate that. 100% agree.
Not ready for primetime but im curious to see where hey go from here..
Need Css grid
Yeah I love CSS grid... in due time!
I'm thinking of leaving duda due to the lack of blocks and templates

Haha right! I always appreciate the support Jim! Interesting on Wix.. I'll check it out.
Is Web Studio easy to use? I know nothing about CSS, style sheets or HTML.
It's a no code builder so that helps a bunch, but will require a bit of learning. I'm currently creating a course
Interresting to see what CMS looks like.

Such an informative video!
Such a supportive person

CMS is out! webstudio.is/cms Animations are on the roadmap but can be done by integrating GSAP for now.

Are there any templates?
Yes. And with the ability to paste from Webflow you have the entire Webflow ecosystem at your disposal wstd.us/copy-paste

Brother. You mock people. This service is so raw that it makes me very scared. It'll take a billion years for it to become normal.
Of course this web builder is your favorite... It's your product :/
I made this video as a passionate user before ever joining the team and before there was an affiliate program.
If they don't have great SEO options it's pointless what the builder looks like
Great video!
Thanks!
