      I hope you can follow our tutorial and use our thermal paste! Thank you! Feel free to try our KOLD-01 thermal paste. It's different from the regular thermal pastes you mentioned. Regular thermal pastes use solvent-based formulas, which can evaporate when heated, causing the paste to dry out and lose its thermal conductivity. Our KOLD-01 uses an exclusive solvent-free formula, perfectly solving this problem. Therefore, it provides better thermal performance and longer durability when used in laptops.

      @@koolingmonster Instead of thermal pads, for example, on the vrams and power section, it is used thermal putty such as Upsiren UX Pro. In most cases, thermal paste will not adequately efficiently transfer heat because the heatsink will not adhere or the paste layer will be too thick, above a thickness of ~0.5mm also paste transfers heat poorly.

    I forgot to disconnect my laptop battery while cleaning and changing thermal paste
    What should I do!!??

    • @koolingmonster
      @koolingmonster  Год назад +1

      We suggest always disconnecting the laptop battery when accessing the internals. It is also important to wash hands to prevent static electricity from damaging the motherboard. If your laptop turns back on and does not malfunction, you should not worry too much.

      @@koolingmonsterI did the same thing he did but only with the long black wire and the fan wire after I noticed what I did I plugged them back in and did everything else after I was done I plugged my computer in and the charging light turned on for a second and turned off and ever since then nothing’s been responding won’t show it’s charging or turn on

      Sorry to hear about the issue. It sounds like there may have been a short circuit when the wires were unplugged. Try these steps:
      1. Double-check if all connectors are secure.
      2. Reset the battery or disconnect it for a few minutes, then reconnect.
      3. Try powering the laptop with only the charger, without the battery.
      If it still doesn't work, I'd recommend seeing a professional technician. Always disconnect the battery before working internally to prevent issues.@@Chris-pl9ru

      Hi. The fans in a computer suck in cool air from outside and throw out the hot air from inside.

    Thermal paste is needed on gpu and cpu, but thermal pads are better on chips

    • @koolingmonster
      @koolingmonster  10 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for your reply! There will be no negative effect if you replace the thermal pads with KOLD-01 thermal paste because of its high viscosity design.

      Is ths screw stripped? First make sure that you using the correct screwdriver bit? You can try to remove the stripped screw with rubberband or gaff tape on the screwdriver bit. We have a tutorial specifically on this matter on our website. koolingmonster.com/insights/how-to-remove-a-stripped-screw-from-laptop-and-pc-using-only-household-tools
