Every time I play this song I'm breathless by the end (no joke, flutes got it rough)
Lol I feel you. I play flute too. It’s hard after a while
The trombones get it easy tho
We do
alto gets it rough
As a clarinet player I feel your pain
I just realized... at 2:07 one of the trumpets jumped the gun and messed it all up xD
Dangit trumpet guy, you were doing so good
i see XD
That's awesome!!! I'm in 8th grade and just got this song today. I play the flute and I think hope we can sound as good as this!!!
Emma Pfirrman Cool!!!
***** trombone over here feeling no love :(
I may have not played it, but how it works for me in 7th grade, we have to watch the 8th grade and played it. It was amazing!
***** Yeah we got 1st and all ones on assessment!! Plus we got first on our field trip and our spring concert is this thursday!!!!
Shawn Butler Yeah.....trombones scare me lol....XD It's so different from flute lol
I play alto sax and there’s nothing like the feeling of all the instruments sounds around you just colliding to make this beautiful masterpiece
They do sound good, I think you need to be there to feel the thrill of this song, If your playing you will be thrilled with out exciting this song gets if your a low brass player.
Westminster High School - 2nd Chair Trombone.
ApocalypseGaming Colorado?
Im 2nd Chair Trombone as well, just in middle school
That Maimba was off for sometime...
its supposed to sound like that
@@rpmgames6058 no it isnt
@@bigboiapricot806 it's how I learned it
@@rpmgames6058 the sound is supposed to be more fluid and less blocky
@@rpmgames6058 that is 100% not what its supposed to sound like
I play this on the alto sax, its awesome!
T Colbert Same!!!!!
i was the only french horn playing this song in middle school. i miss this song so much
My 7th grade band is playing this and at a festival we got a one on it along with two other pieces of music. March of the Irish Guard and Crystal City Overture. We are playing this one again with more new pieces now
Yeah assessment we got all 1's and festival for us too we got first! We played March of Freedom and Korean Folk Rhapsody too.
ogm we played March of the irish guard too!!!! Hahahaha that song is pretty awesome
I played last year too, 7th grade flute.
March of the Irish Guard is soooo much fun (coming from a percussionist) we played it for UIL and got first. I hope you like the song ❤
this gives me band feels and the chills everytime i listen to rites of tamburo ;)
The altos saxophones part is truly epic!
i played this last year. 2nd clarinet. i remember dreading this song until we started playing with the percussion. i swear without the percussion band songs just don’t feel the same way.
I played trombone
I LOVE THIS SONG I GOT IT NOT SO LONG AGO im an 8th grader that song is so good i play a flute and a piccolo its so fun playing it
MEE TOOO!!!!!! I'm first flute so I get to play the piccolo on it as well as flute. For the spring concert theough my director is letting the second chair flute play piccolo along with me - and honestly it sounds better lol. Yeah I'm in 8th too ;)
Love this song. My 8th grade band plays this amazingly. Best song ever
Lol my 7th grade band is playing this. C:
+Jharmainyack lol my 5th grabe band is playing this...
No strings attached!
I love to play this in my band. Im 6th grade.
Played this high school band
I play mallet percussion for this piece. It's beautiful!
+Lauren Matsuo Me too man
mallet percussion too
Bro same!
Playing this for conference band, I'm on vibraphone 🙀
@@Taylor_1227_ ayyyyy percussion gang xD
Our 7th grade is doing this!
Rites Of Tamburo (1999) played in 2012!?! BONUS BABY!!!!!
I just started playing this a week ago and its hard
once you get used to the song and understand the speeds and dynamics the song becomes fairly easy
im late ..
-2nd chair trombone homs
1st Bb trumpet on this song. Gorgeous!
im playing this for my district band this week 2nd chair tenor sax
As a percussionist, this is my favorite piece
I play this on the Eb contra bass clarinet
monet Rhodes the contrabass clarinet is in Bb but the octocontralto is EEb
I'm playing this in my 7th grade band!
The french horn is a lttle flat
1:08 is my fav our middle school band is playing this
Mine too
My middle school is playing this for competition
im in Jr. high school and played this
I play French horn is Frkn awesome !!!
This was fantastic... compared to my 8th grade calss. The main thing is (I'm a flute) an I played an octave above the main ruthenium every time, it really messed up how it could've sounded or atleast I think so
Feeling like the only clarinet here
I am playing this in in my band, and I play saxaphone
Fazbears Figures yea same but I just switched and its so damn hard for me😂 (no homo)
pretty good but no crash symbol :/
+Chao Tan *CRASH*
XD
yeah there is
There is a crash symbol in my band because we have way too many percussionists. So we basically have every percussion part in this song.
Festival tmrw, 1st Trumpet, wish me luck
where my 1st trumpets at?🎺🎺
playing tuba for this for spring concert band it’s funnnn
I really like this, just wish the Bb trumpet 1 was louder between 1.15 and 1.30 :)
Agreed with the person who said articulation
About 1:50 a clarinet played a B natural instead of B flat..
I have to play bells on this song
Anyone tried flute part in thus😂
I am playing this song in band. I play trumpet
+Nick Wolf Me too! How long have you been playing trumpet?
Bruh. Me too. In my band the first trumpets (me) play higher than this
I play french horn
I got this piece of music like yesterday and it's so dramatic! I LOVE IT! And wait isn't it the music for Plants vs Zombies 2 the new one (the explorer world)
I've never listen to ; this type of music. I Liked this tho
it's a band not an orchestra this was written for band and for orchestra
Looking at likes on this video
Me, who can’t get 2 likes: wow that’s a lot
Other me: that’s not enough likes for hard fricking hard this song is!
Other other me: that’s barely any likes! Some people have like, 45K!
#GOFLUTES!
Rites Of Tamburo (1999)
It could’ve sounded better but it still sounds kinda good
No strings?
Bells were bar
Im the only alto sax in my band so i have to di that solo as well as french horn because there no french horns in my band
Seems like a bad song choice for your group.
@@jamesrehan9969 yeah we chose another song but it wasnt because lack of instrument (solely, it probably was a factor) but rather our clarinets (we have 5) not being able to play the melody and carry their weight
@@bigboiapricot806 that’s annoying. but at least you have clarinets lol, my band only as 2.
@@jamesrehan9969 damn that sucks
Haha. All you have instruments that almost everyone knows. And then there's little old me. With my bassoon. And since we have no bass clarinets or baritones I'm the only one playing the really hard part with lots of dotted quarter notes and half notes tied to dotted quarter notes.
+apegasisteryo! i play oboe
i play bass clarinet and in my opinion, the rhythm gets easier with time
apegasisteryo! I play oboe, I feel you. Where it's jut the clarinets and supposedly the flutes playing they put me in instead because the flutes couldn't get the beats right lol. And by the way, I found reeds on sale for 12 dollars yesterday!!!!
@@niko7559 FINALLY I FOUND SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS MY PAIN. The song is brutal.
@@hankfratus7052 LUCKY! Where I am a single reed is 16 dollars. This song is brutal for an oboe player. I always get lost
I have the timpani solo at 3:40
middle school band
I play the flute anyone else?
Nah clarinet for me
The guy on the calves was a little behind
I'm playing the Tiffany
the Tiffany haha
Nvm this song is play a whole key down from what i play it as but idc, it sounds better
rip percussion at 1:38
its supposed to be like that
@@rpmgames6058 no, they were off
Play bassoon and did this for orchestra
I am playing this on alto sax. I'm like one of the only girls who play saxophone at my school LOL
+Flower Pot Productions lelz
Flower Pot Productions there are a lot of girls who play alto at my school
+AG Lol this year I'm the only girl alto and there are 4 altos. XDDD
the only alto saxes at my school are are girls
Ethan Squid Lol nice.
mallet percussion for this song makes me so stressed
Horns need to work on staggered breathing/coming in together.
I just got this concert music today and I play bells and really this song is repetitive
percussions kind of meh but it sounds good
They were flat
