Doesn't make no sence at all. The band's not suppose to stop the uusual unfinished march when they're suppose to follow the conductor so teh march could be cpmlete rather than an abupted ending.

As a percussionist, this is my favorite piece

It's mooshy... the trombones are weak, the woodwinds are weak in some parts and too loud in others, the trumpets aren't powerful enough in some parts, but very good in certain parts. The percussion seems to do pretty well, but there doesn't seem to be any dynamics from the director. Could be the result of the recording but I don't think so. The woodwinds are out of tune a lot of the time. The end of the song is rushed by the director... FYI I played this song in high school in 2006... I listened to a professional recording of the song vs our performance and our judge's screening.... Trumpets scored the highest, woodwinds were miserable.. but this song is difficult for beginners at woodwind and with an inexperienced director... french horns and trombones NEED to be strong. I played trumpet when I played this song... I decided that we all needed to play different but corresponding notes as one of the first chair players at the end of the song... it made a world of a difference and made the judges think we were a much better concert band than we were. Our entire band was very inexperienced, but we scored well because of the changes we made(improvised) to the music. All we did was try to compliment the rest of our band. That is what playing as team is all about.

Sixth graders at Patrick Marsh Middle School in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, received an assignment about ancient Mesopotamia that asked a question about how a slave should be treated, the school's principals said in a letter to students on Monday. "A slave stands before you. This slave has disrespected his master by telling him 'You are not my master!' How will you punish this slave?'" the assignment read, according to a parent who shared a photo on her Facebook page.

i’m a flute player and we played this my freshman year. i’m a senior now and we were going to play this and i was going to get the flute solo but because of what’s going on in world i won’t be playing it. so much disappointment and sadness. nevertheless, this performance is amazing.

Did anyone else’s school have to do theme sheets? Idk about other sections but we percussionists hate them because 90% of the time we don’t even play what’s on there.
