  • Saw sat unused for a number of years and the carb was questionable but I think it’s gonna be ok after a real good cleaning and a kit. First 026 I’ve ported and machined so I may go back in and make some small changes but over all I’m very impressed. Should make a great lil firewood saw.

@@ragercrepair9301 thanks bud..man I gotta admit im totally shocked at how strong this little thing is. The torque is pretty crazy. I’m pushing on that thing pretty hard in the vid and it just stays eating. It was one of the easiest saws to port too since the skirt width is so limiting. Small band/base cut and a few minutes grinding then reassemble. I felt weird putting it back together like I shoulda done more lol 😆 even the muffler was a few minutes. Then I took it outside and said holy f-k! Incredible difference from stock. Anyways thanks for stopping in bud.

@@Houseworksaws it surely holds its own and has a lot more torque and rpms then it would have stock. I like the smaller cc saws showing their awesome power.

Excellent work. That’s a hard one to make run that good. They’re so weak stock

@@HayChaffandSawdust1 Thanks for stopping in. I had never built one and the first time I ran it I was pretty surprised at the power it has for such a light compact lil saw. I guess I’ll have to keep an eye out for a cheap one because now I wanna do a deep dive into one. I’ve been looking at piston options lol 😆. I’ll be posting more vids of it when I’m sure it’s all straightened out.
