There’s no action to be done. It is a show, essentially. There’s no power that exists to persecute Mayorkas that isn’t held by the executive branch. Other than that, I think that the senate can only bring up articles of impeachment, and it’s a democrat majority.

The immigration system has been broken for 60 years at least, but now it’s almost beyond repair. If you got to the part with Senator Hawley, Mayorkas admits that he didn't fire the employee who openly celebrated the terrorist attacks immediately following October 7th. What I hate is when someone asks how have you made outreach to these communities and the reply is "we have made extensive outreach to this communities" and then the person asking the question thanks him for his answer. That's why it's hard for the average citizen to think of these hearings as real and meaningful.
