Chubs you've done well in being patient, no hurry bro. So many expats just dive in, not understanding the contract😊Been married to same Filipina for 38 years. I enjoy the culture n the people. Love it here, thanks
thank you and yes no rush no pressure things will work out the way they are supposed to 👍 Anne and i are working towards some goals… all too often people jump without smelling the Roses 😃
Smoking actually is the stupidest thing anyone can do for one’s health. Let us not forget though that the rotten tobacco industry at that time was covering up smoking’s ill effects.
OMG Chad I really hope you and Anne never break up because I know I will take it hard and most of your guys fans will too You 2 are a great team and I have loved Watchung your relationship grow. I see such a difference in Anne's confidence now compared to when you first met her. Anyways love ya both. Take care always and god bless you both
very nice words Ron thank you 🫶 this is just the beginning and we appreciate you following along 😁 Anne has impressed me as well, i knew right away she was different ❤️
Chubs i love the way you beat to your own drum. Ann seems like great girl but don't rush into marriage because like you say you don't know what the futures holds. The gut telling you to get married havr kids and leave Ann the money that was too funny...lol.. Loved the way you handled that. You and Ann keep enjoying each other you both seem like wonderful people. I am here in Angeles hope to meet you both soon to say hello.
One of the best videos that you have produced! Honest words from Bill (I really like that guy). Anne’s face when she here’s Danny met his girlfriend when she was 14….! My grandma was married when she was 15 (Georgia). Excellent vlog and you didn’t have to use a white board, or threaten to move!! Thanks !!!
i know it was a different era for our parents and especially grandparents 👍 at 14 i was in 8th grade or so 😮 i still cant grasp the idea of marriage at that age.. thank you for the comment
Hey Chad. When you first introduced us to Anne a while back, l told you she was a “keeper”. I had no doubt then and after over a year, I am more confident now. Do you still have any doubts? If so, then let her GO. If not, then tie the KNOT. Remember “there is no rush” has a flip side, which is “ why wait” 😁😁😁
Danny brings up a very good question. I understand the non-marriage. But as far as passing one never knows. So, to have something in writing just in case is not a bad Idea. Your soon to go home n sure will have some thought process time and seeing family n friends n what's changed in the US/MN. But I just say this as if you were to unexpectly pass. the above is something good to have in place for your significate other. Just thoughts...
Just fyi, Chad...Grace and I will probably have children. I'll be the one saying I'm 68 and my wife is pregnant. She'll live long past me so good to leave her with children to care for her. I swear...you are so blessed. You couldn't have ended up with a better woman than Anne. She needed a strong but gentle man to help her through the trauma she experienced. God bless you both...we'll see you two sometime in June or July.
thank you 🫶 yes we are both blessed 🙏 things happen for a reason and these reasons are coming to light for all to see 😁 Anne has had tuff times so thank you again for understanding.. we look forward to seeing you and Grace soon 😃
One of the big things you have to consider is the culture difference. The Filipino has one of the biggest hearts ever and I have never been looked after so well in all my life, however they are very jealous when it comes to relationships and very protective over these. You have to look at the big picture here and understand the background of some of the people to the reason why they are like this then you will understand. As a partner I do not think you will ever get better as long as they are in it for the right reasons, Bill was bang on the nail what he said, a very wise man, total respect.
yes true to all 👍 and thank you for the comments 😁 biggest hearts is right, we can all appreciate that ❤️ background is important to fully understand 👍
I think most places in South East Asia the relationships between locals and foreigners work the same way, you have to be prepared to do some paying, but I wouldn't change my choice of an Asian wife. It must be nice that everywhere you go there everyone speaks English, that's a drawback here in Thailand, unless you are in the bigger cities, you need to learn at least a little bit of Thai or keep your translation app on the phone open.
I think if you live in a foreign country you have to learn to speak their language..At least you are making an effort to assimilate into the local culture..
So my British wife comes home from shopping. You like my 5 k pesos dress you bought me. And you can take me to dinner also . Your loving sweet Filipina wants 5 k to send home now and again, we're so lucky to live here..
I have googled but no definite answer; what are the advantages/disadvantages of an old foreigner bringing his much younger American gf/wife here and if she is young, blond and pretty? Is she in danger if she is out alone?
If you take your time you can find a good filipina who will love and take good care of you as long as you treat her well and you're not a bar hopping womanizing POS. Shout out request for my good friend Dave in Denver.
You are so, so wrong. Getting married means a pathway for citizenship for her children and with it, an abundance of opportunities for them to choose from. Not saying all Filipinos want to make it to America but I doubt you could find a handful that would turn it down
@@Nana-qt1sz Chad would have to adopt her children for a path to citizenship or they would all have to return to the US for 5 years plus and Anne would have to naturalize and her boys receive derivative citizenship through her- do you know of another way?
@jonreedau81 Those were my two choices too, although it would be very challenging to adopt those kids since their dad is still around and could make it difficult. The easiest method is, as you mentioned, by way of Anne’s naturalization. The only caveat is that they need to spend at least 30 months out of a 5 year period physically in the US. Or three years if you are married to a US citizen.
chubb you have a great girl she is waiting for you to pop the question
neither of us are very excited in the concept of marriage, we’ll see how things play out 👍
I'm glad to see you're back at and feeling better ! Till the next one cheers!

great to hear 👍 i appreciate your comment and glad it offers some insight
More in depth interviews/chats with foreigners and their relationships with local women and vice versa would be good......................

thanks Mo 🫶 it’s fun and informative and yes the Danny and early age marriage was crazy 😮 Bill.. always a pleasure to hear what he has to say 😁
In Iowa at my parents age and grandparents it wasn't uncommon for girls at the age of 14 or 15 to get married. And the average age gap was 10 years.
i know it was a different era for our parents and especially grandparents 👍

Getting into Angeles on Friday the 29th , being a very religious holiday are the bars still open?
yes bars should still be open 👍 Filipinos might not be able to drink but foreigners are ok
