I wanna do the conversion on my fa5 but I’m a little confused, do I just need the trunk and taillights and that’s all or do I need the wires that come with the trunk and the bolts or can I use the wires and bolts from my fa5 trunk for the fd trunk
when you did your fd2 rear conversion did your brake lights work right away or did you have to do something? Cause I did the conversion and my brake lights don’t work for some reason everything else works like when I unlock and lock my car the lights flash like normal and hazards work and signals work and the reverse lights I haven’t wired them yet or could that be why?
Yeah everything worked from me in terms of brake lights, license plate lights, signals. I also used the same stock trunk harness. Some of my bulbs had to be switched around. It might not work one way just turn the bulb 180 or get new ones maybe? But yeah the only thing that won’t work are reverse lights

Yeah the trunk and taillights are all you need! The fa5 wires and bolts swap over easily

Yeah you might have to pickup that reverse socket. I think they sell a conversion kit on eBay
