I completely agree. amazing voice. amazing songwriting. jones-gramm owned the 80's with journey. the band changed over the years, but with lou in the mix it was always strong. his was one of the best rock voices ever to grace a stage. he fell ill to a brain tumor in the 90s and has been struggling to recover ever since. God bless him, he still has the passion. go lou, and thanks so much for all the wonderful times that flow through your music.
Lou was a customer in our small business until we closed. He is a sweetheart. God bless him and keep him safe. He's had such a hard time of it. Beautiful, heartfelt music. He feels what he sings and it comes across to the audience.

80s music excellent! Foreigner and Lou were magic. I too thought Lou looked like Robert Plant as I've seen others mention. Many memories back to the first albums!
Interesting how he was able to sing so well on stage particularly this performance but at this time in 1985 off stage , he was very, very aggravated and unhappy with Mick Jones because of the 95 to 5 ratio split on "I want to know what love is " (Mick took the whole 100% and Lou never got nothing for singing it) Lou proved he was the professional one in Foreigner to even stick around awhile even after being screwed from getting his due.

In my days of youth...this WAS the song of my girlfriend and myself, who later became my wife. That was 30 years ago.....and it still sends chills down our spines, now with some grey and some wrinkles starting to show. It's all good... Thanks Foreigner, for a song that will live for a lifetime and beyond! Glad to see the band back together, though Lou isn't there anymore, his health not being that good, Kelly is doing a good job and hopefully they will keep making music of this quality.
