Ones again Pete you did it again. Amazing job buddy. Peter thank you so much for taking your time to share your work. I appreciate it. Also how about if you take a few minutes on your drive home to make a raw video about true IB n trunk IB. Thanks buddy. Your the greatest
Looks amazing. What a great work, Peter. Looking forward for a video about true IB and trunk IB. I see that you prefer the IB15AU over the SBP15. What is the reason?
Do you think a "too small" door enclosure is still better than the whole door? I've got 12" PA mids for SQL and they would need 15-20l enclosures, but I doubt I could get that much, even just using fiberglass instead of wood. I should be able to get 10l anyway, but that's a little small.
Amazing build - superb quality. On the subject of super-tweeters, I have a lot of experience with high-end home audio and of super-tweeters in that context. In fact my own speakers use a super-tweeter that consists of an AMT driver. Now in home audio it is usual to find that a low order crossover is used on super-tweeters and there is actually significant output well below 20KHz. I’m curious as to how you have set yours up?
Hi, awesome video. Can i fit JL 8inch (w3v3 ) Subwoofer in 10x10 sealed box in footwell ? i think there thin series (TW3 ) will lack the punch. Please guide, waiting fro your reply.
@@pssound9749 sir how does 10TW3 Compares to 10w3v3 if space is not an issue ? ( even in footwell ) in terms of accuracy and punch. Really confused, appreciate some help.
We’ve been using JL subs for many many years, because if someone, then they truly know how to make a good sounding sub. The problem is that most SQ fairies 🧚 don’t want to recognise it and they say it’s for street boomers. They want some fancy brands only like Focal, Morel & others only, whereas great SQ is about implementation. This sub did everything we needed, it’s tight, clean and accurate with plenty of headroom and also has a great benefit that’s underrated: has an option for a grill. Some may laugh at that, but once you need a grill and you have to make one, you know what difference it makes too.
What house curve do you use for tuning? You once showed that it corresponds to the characteristics of the factory systems, but I can't find that video.
Thought I was beginning to understand the speaker-amp relationship. But this car has a front woofer of 400w rms at 4ohm but is matched with an amp of 200w at 4ohm. Maybe it’s the dual coil spec that means 200rms is what is best.
Front sub is DVC and runs at 2ohm. Also, a front sub running in it’s intended range doesn’t require that much power as it doesn’t have to play the lowest octaves that requires lots of power.
Ah ok. Thanks very much for the explanation. I understand I think. The large rear subs best to have 4ohm for SQ and they have taken over from the front sub before the front sub gets near its limits, so the front sub does not need the SQ control of 4ohm and performs perfectly at 2ohm, less power needed, less cost, less footprint.
How bad of a gut job is this? My installer outside of NYC said it would take a week to just get amps in. I got nervous then. I have a base system so anything would sound better.
You'd have thought the customer, knowing this is what he wanted to do, would've went with the Taycan Sports/Cross Turismo wagon versions instead of the sedan, at least it would've been what I would've done..... especially because the wagon Taycan looks awesome, and, um, the sedan...not so awesome 😅 But that's my opinion, and I drive an old 97 GMC RCSB Sierra K1500 and an 89 Sedan DeVille (with audio mind you, but nowhere _near_ the level of your own builds), so I've got no room to talk 😅🤣😫
You’re killing me with the late upload…Well i sleep a bit later i guess😂😂
The PS sound smile for sure
upfront woofer is a great idea from now on peter,it just makes sense ,subs in the rear, woofers and mids and tweeters in the front.
Been looking forward to this one!
Amazing work! Just another level
great work plz upload demo video thanks

Mainly that there is not a huge difference, but price is also a great factor. We’ve always had great results with the IB AU range.
For me one question: how changing filter then sub installed on gloves box, like in your Honda 😂 ?

I hope to have the opportunity to see you share the TESLA car series 16V low-voltage battery (6ah) system modification video.
Peter, did Edy get to hear this one? I sure hope so... "Exhilarating" might be a good word to describe the Effect of the Speed and Sound, :)

10TW3 outperforms the 8W3v3 in every way.

Hi Peter I recently purchased a pair of Hertz ml 500r. How do you think it is recommended to install them? Thanks
Peter how do you like the JL as a Front sub??? its mot your typical "SQ" front woofer ive seen you utilize ?

I'd enjoy a video about boot IB vs true IB.

Front sub term must stay.
They want to be enlightened

Wow, a Porsche that doesn’t look like a Hyundai Santa Fe or modded VW beetle…for a lot more money. I guess I don’t get it.
But this car is nice!
