you do such a super support and give us big updates without costs, so that I will buy the course blind, just to support you as a very convinced user of your wonderful plugin.since years
Thanks, the DEV team will continue to support and they are working hard on some cool stuff! We at SOS have worked very hard on this course so we appreciate the feedback and really hope that users benefit from it. We love Scaler and always wanting producers to get the most out of it. 🙏 Hope you enjoy.
Can you create a video about the chord performance timing in the edit tab at the bottom, pls@SchoolofSynthesis
I don't mind paying for this tutorial at all! The price of your plug-in is super-reasonable and so is the price for this course. Thanks for making it affordable!
Just joined. Really nice price to unlock all the potential of Scaler. Thanks David.
Love this! Thanks so much Davide and Scaler team!
This is exciting! I will be starting the course today!
Amazing feature that being able to edit EACH bar to be of a different motif.
This is the software to keep the rock rolling!
It's good folks. I just started watching the first few modules and I've already learned some important things and customized the interface much more to my liking. My only wish is that the course could be viewed in a larger size (i.e. a cinema mode that is not full screen) rather than having to view it in full screen since viewing in full screen means I cannot try things out on my actual Scaler plugin that is open and beside me on my second display. I am having to view the course at full screen size and then pause it regularly and get out of full screen to access my Scaler plugin.
Yes quite annoying, we've used the Kajabi platform which is one of the most popular platforms, it's excellent in every other way. Kajabi as looking to implement a theatre mode so hopefully that is soon. Otherwise I just use the browsers zoom function and use scaler alongside.
Yes yes yes! Lovely stuff!
thanks for the discount! swooped it!
Grabbing ASAP! ❤❤❤
Awesome! Instant buy ❤
purchased...thanks so much!
Instant Purchase!
scaler 2 = my music teacher, a course will only further that
Please provide the option to pay by PayPal, credit card firms tend to really bump up the costs to us when currency conversion is required. I appreciate PayPal are no angels when it comes to exchange rates, by credit card companies really go to town.
Really glad to see this course being made available, the piecemeal videos on updates are great, but to have a course systematically work through Scale, and be updated with new versions, is a great idea.
PayPal now accepted!😀
@@SchoolofSynthesis Brilliant thank you.
@@SchoolofSynthesis Purchased, many thanks.
Yup. Insta-buy. Thank you!
You're most welcome, lots of stuff in there we've worked very hard on it so hope you get lots out of it!
@@SchoolofSynthesis How do i sign up to create an account because i don't see that option apart from login in?
@@dambajam HI James I'm not sure I understand here. You just purchase, log in and you are through with an account already setup. Let me know if you are still having issues

Did you sign up through Plugin Boutique or because on the School of Synthesis i don't see any option for creating an account with them apart from login in.

@@dambajam clicked enroll and login and then it had me create an account.
@@AhmadWtx Thank you very much for this information.🙏
I’m looking forward to purchasing the course to support you guys! But I always wondered if you could create some tutorials that actually explain what some of your voicing presets do. For example, does voicing 1 move the bottom midi note of the chord to the top?
Hi Eric, Davide loves these voicings an refers to them often in his tutorials here. The voicings are artist interpretations of the the diatonic chords of a scale. In other words, instead of using the standard boring chords you could use a set (Voicing 1) which an artist has made versions of each chord that is true to scale but would work well together in a track.
A stand-alone app would be very much appreciated 😊
Will the course be updated for all future releases (e.g. Scaler 3.x), or only for Scaler 2.x updates?
From Davide's "Scaler 3" slip on the stream it seems Scaler 3 is also in the works beyond 2.8 and other 2.x updates. I'm curious if this course will be all-encompassing given that it's called the "Scaler 2" course.
BTW, thank you for the great tutorials you have published on RUclips. Looking forward to the course to help learn more systematically.
At last!
I was under the impression that I could record from the midi keyboard and rasterize my texture to different harmonies. Is that true? Or can I only use the built-in options? Thank you!
I have purchased the course from Plugin Boutique and it has now been setup with a password etc but I cannot see where to login on the School of Synthesis website?
Hi I purchaed scaler2 recently but have struggled wjth it so far. Will this cover all the basics as well as the more advanced features or is this mostly aimed at ghe updated material
Absolutely starts from scratch, 7 modules with module 1 focussed on the main page and all the basic functions. Useful to keep as a reference to keep going back to to help you explore the more advanced features as you get more into the software.
One suggestion for the GUI: use a brighter color for the selected item. For example, when selecting PATTERN 1 or PATTERN 2. The white unselected items are brighter than the selected one. Perhaps add another, different and brighter color for the selected one so it is more obviously unique/selected, rather than the dulled-down color of the bars at the top of the chord names. The blue that you use is low contrast with the grey/black background and is harder to read. I understand the philosophy of minimizing the color pallet but do consider the benefit of adding one more color.
Have tried everything on the Maschine and MPC
That came out wrong have you tried this the Maschine and MPC
Question. Is there much covered in this course that I would not also learn in the RUclips series "Scaler 2 In Depth Tutorial's and Workshop" by School of Synthesis?
Hey Gary, yes it's 95% Brand new content not covered before and setup in lesson plan / course module to help you learn the power in a structured and feature by feature way. 3K students have done the course so far and it's helping people really learn how to take advantage of Scaler.
Thank you, I started the course and its great. Just what I hoped for.
Is there a link to plugin boutique on this course...I've seen various courses, but not sure which one it is.
Thanks in advance
Available now here online.schoolofsynthesis.com/scaler-2-course-page - coming next week on Plugin Boutique.
@School of Synthesis ok thanks I'll wait until its on plugin boutique
@@SchoolofSynthesis Now available at Plugin Boutique, see the description in this video for the link
Is the course simply a collection of existing published videos available on the website or does it include a new series of original specific videos designed for the course? Thanks.
Hi Martin, it is all new material featuring 380 minutes of exclusive content including all new Creative Summaries by Davide Carbone. The only video from the course (as an example) is this one: ruclips.net/video/-HKJgiGPLIc/видео.html
@@SchoolofSynthesis Thanks for getting back. That's great.
great, but arent all the videos available on youtube already?
This appears to be fresh content and deeper dives, not that there aren’t a ton of vids already to help folks, agreed!
No, none of the videos are available on RUclips this is 100% all new never before seen content. Davide's recent video 'Scaler 2 | Using Audio Detection to Make a Track' is based on his Creative Summary for Module 2 but that is 20 mins of 380 minutes (so 360 mins totally new content).
Do the course tutorials include version 2.8?
2.8 is not out yet! But yes, everything gets updated to support it so don't worry - it will be covered indeed!
@@SchoolofSynthesis Thanks guys!!
Is it only possible to buy with a credit card ? 😢 PayPal please !
Same here... I am willing and eager to purchase but I will need a PayPal option.

Hello sir. I brought the scaler course. I love it! I just have a question. Im using scaler to play eastwest instruments but they don't work right. It just play weird articulations and not the main sound. These are the only vsts I have this problem with. Is there anything I can do?
Hard to diagnose here but head over to forum.scalerplugin.com and give some details I am sure the many EastWest users there may be able to help you figure out what the issues you are having are.
@@SchoolofSynthesis Will do sir! Thank you.
Please think about Chinese subtitles!
Will do thank you!

@@davidecarbonemusic thanks a million!
About how long is each video, and how many hours worth of content in total???
Videos vary in length from 2 minutes to 30 minutes and there is over 380 minutes of content covering everything so lots there for you!
Hi. I'm interested but I would like to know if Italian subtitles are available. Thank you
Salve Marco, prima l'inglese e poi vedremo l'italiano.
Grazie, l'ho acquistato comunque.
Italian being added now Marco.
The price seems cheaper than the normal version. How is it different from the slightly more expensive regular version?
Do you mean Scaler 2 the app? One is for desktop and one is for the iPad. They are two different platforms with two different costs and uses. Check notes below for links on where you can purchase Scaler 2. Desktop is available exclusively on Plugin Boutique and the iPad version is available exclusively on the App Store
TAKE my money....
Thanks
!!! Scaler 2.7.3 / 2.7.2 doesn't work in Windows 7 PC, Cubase 9.5 (VST2 + VST3) Please fix this. Only version 2.7.0 works. 😭😭😭

Is Reason Studios DAW covered?
Reason doesn't allow midi pass through so it works fine with dragging and dropping but you can use bluecat. Plenty of things here on YT to check out. We may add a module covering bluecat one day

I absolutely need the course as an MP4 download. So that I can have the course automatically (!) translated into my language (GERMAN) for me !!
There has been a few requests here. Let us look into it.

I guess that means Scaler 3 is a long way off, then.
DEV team hard at work - lots of exciting news inbound!
I really like scaler but the problem is, listening to David's voice and Timber ,he's too slow, I get bored and want to just click on because of the the non-excitement and energy can you get someone else to present the information and material..
We will tell Davide! Watch some of Tristan's videos he is the opposite. Looks like we need someone in the middle. Happy Easter!
Fair enough most of the tutorials are hosted by James Hewson and Tristan Malloch I only do the creative summaries which you can skip. Hope that helps!
Very disappointed with Scaler 2 course. Hard to understand instructor, my screen looks different than instructors (why no section B in scales mode?), unexplained issues (why does the key in section B not change key when i change key in section A?) and poor explanations/demonstrations (chord note keylock - which I've watched 5 times to no avail) I've posted comments within the course, but I don't think anyone from the school ever replies to them. I don't care about the money I just want to learn this thing and so far module 1 failed to meet my expectations
Hi Gordo, sounds like you need further explanation on how to use the software, the best place to do that is the community forum over at forum.scalerplugin.com where there are thousands of helpful users. The course has had over three thousand students and whilst we can't please everyone the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Please do head over to the forum, you will be pleasantly surprised at how helpful the users and devs can be. Hope that helps.
@@SchoolofSynthesis Thank you for your reply. I have received help from the forum but with respect to the chord lock note key issue I haven't been able to get any help and at this point I'm giving up. It's not that I don't understand the concept, it's just what shows up on my keyboard looks nothing like what's in the instructors.
The latest version of logic pro x and the latest version of scaler2, when running on the MacBook m1, it is forced to close. I have not been able to work for two or three months
We all work on that exact setup and no issues here. Head over to forum.scalerplugin, com and list what you're doing / setup / daw and some of the DEV team / community may be able to help you.
