  • A fellow Foam fanatic sent me this cool toy revolver with two speed loaders.
    Once I saw it, I realized I have to paint it. In this video I show you the steps to change this Toy gun into a cool prop.

      @@EvilTedSmith for accuracy could you have drilled a hole?

  • @bob6784558
    @bob6784558 4 года назад +2

    Those bullets look small enough, you could've probably used a drill chuck to rough them up faster.

    • @EvilTedSmith
      @EvilTedSmith  4 года назад +1

      Maybe... Just worry the chuck would leave grooves in the soft plastic.

    • @bob6784558

      @@EvilTedSmith I get that, could use some thin foam to cushion it I guess.

  • @andy-in-indy
    @andy-in-indy 4 года назад +1

    What, if anything, would you do different if you wanted to use Plastidip for the grip instead of paint? I was just thinking of the softer feel vs. the toy gun's plastic.

    • @EvilTedSmith
      @EvilTedSmith  4 года назад

      The problem with using Plastic on plastic is that it won't stick and will peel off over time.

    • @andy-in-indy
      @andy-in-indy 4 года назад +1

      @@EvilTedSmith That was what I was concerned about. I didn't know if someone had a trick to make it stick. :(

    Can you use kwik seal instead of bondo?

    • @andy-in-indy
      @andy-in-indy 4 года назад

      Quick seal is very flexible and does not sand as well as Bondo. Also it will swell and shirk with extreme changes in temperature and humidity.

    • @EvilTedSmith

      Bondo is better for plastics. Kwik seal I only use on EVA foam.
