AT 3:39 DOES THE FRONT AND BACK PART OF THE SHIRT HAVE TO ALLIGN BEFORE SEWING BECAUSE IDK IF THE FRONT PART OF THE SHIRT IS ALLIGNED WITHT THE BACK ONE.

Why is the move tool and zoom so complicated lol, I can't for the life of me move 2 pieces from far away towards my character, i wish there was also a blender shortcut interface for it

After I import the Alembic in MD and I simulate everything crashes. Do you know why? 🙏🏻
do blender files from digital starter kit include alembic files already? Or do we need to have marvellous designer first. I would like to check how it feels in Blender before purchasing a MD subscription
Marvellous designer offers a 30 day free trial so you can test it.
Everything works fine but when i use node wrangler to add the textures the mapping is off and i see patterns of the clothing projected on the surface
Your UVs are incorrect then. Make sure you have them set up properly in MD

Learn blender first. Once you get the basics then learn marvelous designer
when I import my textures with the wrangler node my textures are completely black no texture appears, does anyone have a solution?
check your UVs. There might be something wrong there?

Change the name of the UV, Must be the same name. If it doesn't work, try to see if the shaders file is correct, sometimes has the same name, but is different because there is NAME.001
Do you know what to do if the character in the alembic file is sitting?

any ways to get puff print in MD? i tried doing the displacement method but It doesn't show up in blender is there other any way?
Great question. Puff print is a little tricky. I’m still trying to figure out the best way to approach this but I haven’t found an ideal solution yet. Will make a video on it if I do.
having issues importing the alembic back into marvelous it removes the model and its just the clothes floating ?

@@depecas I faced the same problem, it simply scales down very small, but you just need to select cm and set to 1000% it will work fine

Clo3D and marvelous designer are pretty much the same software. They have very similar workflows and most of the features will work the same (from my understanding)

i have a problem with importing the abc file. when import it the avatar is always rotated by 90° and i cannot rotate it do you know a solution?
Apply the rotation before exporting
