- Do you plan on moving to NYC or just a bit nosey on what my rent is? I pay $2,650 for rent but also note that my rent goes up every year like most NYC apartments unless you live in a rent stabilized building. If you are planning to move to NYC, make sure you SAVE money because it is expensive everywhere you go. Here is how I decorated my 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment in Bushwick, Brooklyn. I love your apartment and cat! I'm considering getting a fountain for my cats. They really enjoy fresh, cold water. Rent stabilized apartments also have increases at the renewal of your lease. If you're fortunate, you can sign a 2 year lease and you're rent is not going to increase until after the lease is up and you decide to renew.
Yes, you should get one! I noticed that once I got it, my cat started drinking way more water and the little water foundation noise is kind of peaceful. 😂😂 I didn’t know rent still went up on rent stabilized! My friends who live in them told me their rent stays the same. Now I know, thank you for sharing! 😊❤️

Interesting, but I was somewhat disoriented when I was suddenly in a kitchen and then in a bathroom, and I have no idea how the apartment is laid out. The kitchen could have been in another building for all I could tell. The rent seems very reasonable for such a nice NYC place.

i like your kitchen step stool but just an idea here. IF you go to bed bath and beyond they have collapsable step stools that take up basically no space. Couldn't see to put a clickable link here but go to Bed Bath and Beyond Site and search Step Stools. I have the

@@fashionenthusiasts These stools are only one step. Maybe they make three step ones but they do come in different sizes and I think one as high as yours.
@@fashionenthusiasts Lovely flat, by the way. Used to live in Manhattan and worked a bit in Brooklyn. I understand the idea of a more quiet and space. Live now in San Francisco in a fab neighborhood in a huge Edwardian flat on the top floor. Quiet and great Landlords that live in the bottom flat.

mammyewok omg I didn’t know that!! Just researched it and you’re right! Thankfully my cat pays no mind to it and doesn’t care for it but I will be precautious. Thank you! 😊❤️
@@fashionenthusiasts Actually the same thing for essential oil defusers - they can cause serious health issues for cats. The oil is dispersed into the air and can end up on the cats fur where they ingest it when they groom. Certain oils are actually deadly. Be super careful. Just spreading the word. :)

I have one in every room and connect them all through the Google Home app. I also have Smart Plugs for every lamp in my apartment so I use the Google Home to open all the lights. Have you tried contacting Google? They might be able to help! 😊❤️

Well in New York City, the minimum wage is $15 an hour so annually that would be $29,250 before federal and state taxes. Depending on your city and state will vary the average income. The median household salary is $57,782 from a 2019 study. NYC does have a higher median household salary compared the other states due to the cost of living. Hope that helps!
