Timothy Dalton was an excellent James Bond. I think both his movies are very good. The truck scene/battle is excellent. This movie is hurt by some cheap production values in some of the set pieces. @@randomhuman97 Too right it was customized. A standard truck wouldn't have the bend in the chassis to perform such a manoeuvre. Especially given the fact that most of the weight is up front.
***** I assume you mean a high performance supercharged engine and dual steering, but I would imagine a "high supercharged" engine would be taller? And "dial steering" I have never heard of. Is it like a knob instead of a steering wheel? And what advantage does that provide?
Sorry man just busting your balls. I had a good laugh when I saw this in the theater years ago, when the truck does a wheelie but both axles (all 8 rear wheels) stayed on the ground. In reality, a dual-axle truck would not be able to do a wheelie like that regardless of how much power the engine makes.

Timothy Dalton was an excellent James Bond. I think both his movies are very good. The truck scene/battle is excellent. This movie is hurt by some cheap production values in some of the set pieces. Also, the heroines are terrible actresses. Carey Lowell later learned to be a good actress, but not in this movie.

Doing a wheelie with a semi is impossible! That said, Bond has DA SKILLZ!!!

4:20 Nearly spat my drink out the first time I saw that truck wheelie lol
The sequence could have been perfect but they had to kill it with that cringey stunt
@@Snubrevolver well I think this isnpired Dom to do his iconic signature wheelie in F&F
@@Snubrevolver it was 100% real stunt. . . The trucks were kenworth W-900 customised for this scene.
Remy Julianne dare devil stuntman performed the side step of the truck and the wheelie . . .
Tim Dalton also almost died while filming the climax
@@randomhuman97 He did? How?
@@randomhuman97 Too right it was customized. A standard truck wouldn't have the bend in the chassis to perform such a manoeuvre. Especially given the fact that most of the weight is up front.

4:22 that is NOT how truck axles work! lol
+M Kefer True, but it's a good laugh. ;)
What's a high supercharged engine?? And what's "dial steering"?
***** I assume you mean a high performance supercharged engine and dual steering, but I would imagine a "high supercharged" engine would be taller? And "dial steering" I have never heard of. Is it like a knob instead of a steering wheel? And what advantage does that provide?
Sorry man just busting your balls. I had a good laugh when I saw this in the theater years ago, when the truck does a wheelie but both axles (all 8 rear wheels) stayed on the ground. In reality, a dual-axle truck would not be able to do a wheelie like that regardless of how much power the engine makes.
