Daniel Vila I don't get it that's what they all fucking say. I remember the fascist take over there starting as a socialist revolution, and nazis weren't fascists they where semi socialists and made many socialist reforms. Yet commies and socialists want to distance themselves from them. They are still yours.
Giovanni Dobber Capitalist?! CAPITALIST?!?! Yes, fascism does focus on the conservative side of the spectrum, but fascist economies are entirely controlled economies.
Franco was Not a communist. He actually destroyed the elected communist gouverment. You could say He was a facist dictator. He also allied with hitler. But still a Great video.
Elected communist government? No, it was a coalition of left parties (Frente popular), with PSOE (Center-left) Republican Left (Center-left) and finally the Partido Comunista de España, but this one only get 3% of the votes in 1936 election, in the 1936 election the left parties get 48% of the votes, and the right parties 46%. But in Spain has never had a communist government. The president before Franco was Azaña, a center-left politician. But still a great comment. Simmons From Wales oh really so the UK can offer better economics than the EU? look they want to stay in the EU and if a referendum happens I'm sorry to say the stay side would be fighting a losing battle I know the EU sucks but independence is worth any cost of money loss
Soda King - lol, your last statement just explained why Scotland should be joined with us and be totally anti-eu. "Independence is worth any cost of money loss", the eu is completely corrupt and we should be free of it
Soda King it's not about what England can offer mate, it's the fact that Scotland doesn't have a say in the matter. The union gave Scotland a referendum in 2014 because of a respect for democracy and the UK is not like Spain who deny their citizens the right to secede. Scotland got a referendum because the central government offered them one out of kindness and respect, not because there was any legal obligation. Scotland were allowed to vote on Brexit like the rest of the nations in the UK and they voted mainly to stay in the profligate EU like all the English bourgeoisie university students. There will be no second referendum.
No they didn't, it was mostly 55+ age group of people who voted to remain, and the OAP group who were the most strongly in favour of remaining. It's largely due them remembering WW2 and Post WW2 Britain when there was a much greater sense of being British. Once most of these people die off within the next 10-20 years and younger people reach voting age independence will be inevitable.
He was such a "Communist" that he sent an entire army division to support Hitler on the Eastern Front, though he (wisely) stayed neutral otherwise in WW2.
the whole west coast of the untied states, including Alaska and Hawaii have large secessionist movements in them, and all of them except Alaska are primarily liberal, meaning, it's is likely that there will be attempts at a north American west coast country.
I live in Belgium and I doubt Flanders and Wallonia would split. I mean sure, the Flemish joke about it but the amount of people in Flanders who would really want independence is quite low. And then what would happen to Brussels? They have a french-speaking majority but surrounded by Flanders? I don't think it will happen
+tumarfa Well that was very different. If you look at a map of Belgium you'll see that on the south side of Brussels, Flanders is very narrow (3km) separating the countries. There are thousands of people who travel from the South (e.g. Ottignies, Namur, La Hulpe, etc.) who would have to pass through this section. Train fares might be significantly different or higher, parts of the track might vary in consistency. That is only one of the issues that would face people if the split was to happen.
Tumarfa the thing is that people from Brussels are not Wallonian because they do not live in Wallonia. Also flemish and walloonian are linguistic and regional identities not ethnicities. If you're from Brussels you're Brusselian and not Walloonian.
Franco Franciscus was a Nationalist not communist.. He fought against the Communist in the spanish civil war in 1936 or 1937 I don't know the date well
Yeah.... "Third" republic xD. Did you mean second? Franco was a Nationalist general of the spanish army. He was Fascist not communist... well, he actually KILLED the communist and republicans.
Thank you so much for your dedication and the effort you put in these videos and the friendly way of making them ! I can't say a thank you that big to you, thanks to you I've got the 3rd place at geography in my country!!!!!
Franco wasn't Communist nor Fascist He was a National Syndicalist, which has important distinctions from Fascism when it comes to kapitalism and the free market
KGB Official Channel He was a National Syndicalist which Goes against Fascism by adopting kapitalism and empowered foreign and domestic businessmen to exploit the working spanish
I would say he was neither. Original italian fascism was secular. Franco's regime was catholic. I would just call his regime a form of catholic authoritarianism.
Hoping to launch a geography channel soon if my headset ever arrives. Thanks for the inspiration! Just discovered your videos and I'm really liking the information you cover.
As a Czech, there is not enough "push" to reunite with Slovakia again. Yes we are closely related and friendly to each other. However, there is not enough economic incentive to do this. Many Czechs feel they would have to "sacrifice" in order to support Slovakia since Slovakia is a weaker economy. Besides, our close cooperation together is already unifying enough. Think of it slightly similar to a Confederation, but not exactly.
I'll admit, it was a bit of a stretch and would probably require some fundamental change in the goals (perhaps a disintegrated EU) thanks for sharing your opinion civilly though, I appreciate it!
As a Scot that voted Brexit, Scotland will not be leaving the UK, ever. The SNP is not willing to create a new independence referendum, and the SNP knows that leaving the UK will ruin our GDP and there is still a 40% Eurosceptic population in Scotland (based on the Brexit vote in Scotland) which means if we do leave and join the EU, a large amount of our population will not be happy.
1. Franco was fascist 2. Northern Ireland is legally defined as a top level constituent unit and not a territory. 3. Wales is part of England as a country. 4. The Flanders movement is to join the Netherlands rather than become independent 5. The Åland Islands want to join Sweden rather than become independent But it was a really good vid, these are just a couple minor corrections.
"I'm just walking down the street in the Netherlands, enjoying my Netherlands stuff, and enjoying my legal drugs." The Netherlands summed up in one sentence XD
Who thinks toycat would be a good country owner/owns his own country and if he did would you live there also +ibx2cat +ibxtoycat do you think you could run a county???

Hey! I'm from Belgium and honestly, I do not think Belgium is gonna split, of course there is some issues between Wallonia and Flanders but even if it's not always easy, we love each other (I'm from Wallonia and I have several friends in Flanders) this is more the politics that are making it a big deal, but I don't think it's gonna happen :) Oh, and btw you said that there were more dutch speaking in Brussels, that's not true and it is the reason why Belgium is not gonna separate, because Brussels has more french speaking than dutch speaking even if it's located in the dutch speaking side ^^
Hey, I'm from Belgium too, but from Flanders. And here a lot of people think that a split will be the better for both of us (most of the people I know, myself included). And although I do have several Walloon friends, it is clear to me that they are a totally different people. And there are solutions to the problem posed by Brussels: make it a city state and keep the system of the communities, that way Flanders and Wallonia can still give their people their cultural and educational needs, but on every other aspect Brussels would be independent from both.
pieter-jan Vandaele Hum, I was not saying it wouldn't be a good thing, I said I didn't think it was gonna happen (mostly because of the Brussels issue) I think we all have really different opinions about it but it is quiet a tough situation... Maybe you're right but if I had to say my opinion about that, this is that I'ld be really sad if Belgium had to split, I think Wallonia by itself woudn't be fun! When I think about all the beautiful cities there is in Flanders, all the amazings football players (yaaay xD) and the friends I've there, I feel like Wallonia will be so boring alone... And I know that the flanders are more into that "spliting" thing because of the economical issues of Wallonia, but economics evolve all the time, we don't know how it's gonna be in few years... But you know, right now I think that nothing is sure about it, only time will say if Belgium is gonna split or not :)
I enjoyed reading your comments, it's rare to see decent discourse in RUclips comments. Thank you for helping me learn a little more about your country
@pieter-jan Vandaele They have done many different samples on this question in flanders, The results surprisingly always put that it was at most 30 percent but usually way less of the flemish that wanted too split of. It might be different in your region but generaly speaking it is not the case. Im flemish too btw
6:56 Belgium has three main ethnic groups and three self ruled regions. Flanders, Wallonia, and the german communities in the east (Eupen, Kelmis, Lontzen, Raeren, Amel, Buellingen, Burg-Reuland, Buetgenbach and Sankt Vith). 12:17 Czechoslowakia did split in 1993. That was 3 years after the end of the communist era in easteurope. The reasons were different interest, which they still have. In fact, Czechoslowakia was the heritage of the multi-ethnic austro-hungury empire.
Hey nice video ;D I would like to say that other parts of spain, france and even a small city of italian sicily called L'alguer wants the independence to form The catalan country. You should do a video of the catalan country or "Els Països Catalans". Most people in catalonia speak Catalan as a first lenguage, spanish and french as secondaries. The education is in catalan and it's used in most times by catalans. And last Franco was a fascist dictator. Well congratulations and nice video ;D Visca Catalunya lliure ;P
one little "mistake" you made if i would call it that way, would be that Brussels is generally more flemish/dutch than french (if that was how you meant it at 7:33), in fact the flemish "cut" of people living in Brussels, or inhabitants speaking dutch has declined superfast in the last, i would say about 20-30 years. This is due to the large ammount of foreigners moving into brussels who don't necessarily speak french but learned to speak french rather than learning dutch for obvious reasons (easier + sometimes they have some french background or french is their 2nd language), this also means that brussels has become extremely diverse in the languages that are being spoken by inhabitants.
also Wales isn't a kingdom, it's a principality, and Northern Ireland isn't a kingdom as the kingdom was Ireland (which has since left the monarchy completely behind) so "United Kingdom" would be weird on that front too
Ronald de Rooij polls differ. I saw a poll where 80% of the dutch liked it and 70% of the flanders wanted it. there is no solid evidence of what they want. but if you go on the street its 50 50.
Where did you see the poll? The history of the Netherlands is rough. Belgium was a part of The Netherlands a while ago. But they left because they felt let down by the Dutch. That's why they left. I don't know why they would reconnect now.
wiebe V aken they left becouse of belief they where more catholic. but i see why vlanders wants to leave. thier country is run by a walonian and they make up for only 35% of the population. and even made brussles a walonian/vlanders city. and it would bring way more profit for vlanders. we become the biggest traders in europe our econemy will boom and the soccer team wil be beast. that is why many people in north belgium name the splitting a mistake..
Dan Fox yes but it doesn't have its own currency and If you look up an atlas the country's section its classified as the UK and not Scotland so is not completely free do remember that
there is alot of tension between the protestants and catholics considering that the IRA were constantly bombing innocent civilians and also the fact that the northen irish are probably the most patriotic people in the UK come the 12th of july every house you drive by they will have a union jack or an ulster flag you dont need to be there for very long to realize that they dont get along with each other
ORipperO It would still be called Romania because they are the same nationality (romanian). They got separated due to the USSR being, well, itself (weakening and dividing nationalities so they cant rebel).
@mihalache codru USSR being itself? The land that is now Moldova was part of the Russian Empire since 1812. Only between 1918 - 1940 was part of Romania in the last 200 years. You can't blame only the USSR for that, the USSR existed since 1922. Also, you allege that moving peoples around was something specific to the USSR. How about the colonization of Bărăgan? It was started in the 19th century and continued during the monarchy and the communists in Romania. How about Dobruja? Romanians : 1878 - 21%; 1930 - 64%; 2011 - 83%. How about the colonization of the Aromanians in Dobruja and Southern Dobruja during the monarchy? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dobruja#Demographic_history Don't jump the gun accusing people of things as if only they are doing it, especially when you yourself are doing it. PS: I am Romanian, I know my history.
They did in 2011 as he said. They didn't win a majority on their own in 2016, but the pro-independence parties (SNP, Greens & some smaller ones) still got a majority together.
There are 129 seats in the scottish parliament. SNP has 63, SGP 6, together 69. 129/2 is 64.5, so you need 65 for an absolute majority, which they obviously have.
#Catalonia for independence as a huge supporter of Irish unification I hugely support independence moments like Scotland and Catalonia and Quebec and while you may think Spain will never let it due to Spain being broke they can't force them to stay and these people will fight for it if it comes to it
Åland is split between Finland and Sweden. And there have not been many wars over it since Finland previously belonged to Sweden and we have strong relations.
"If you're watching a geography series you probably know a bit about geography" Yeah let's see I mean I can name all 197 countries in 8 minutes and 42 seconds.
The world is uniting in a different way. Countries are splitting off but there are less and less wars, and most countries are friendly with each other.
I hate to say this... But that's going to change... Soon... NATO has been poking the Russian sleeping bear for a few decades now and it ha awakened. They are preaparing for war and they are not afraid o show how they are prepairing for NATO aggression. They did a huge training a few months ago with about 40 million civilians, services, and army personal and are now increasing anti-air capabilities in Crimea, around Moscow and near the border. They are ready, we aren't, but it seems as if NATO doesn't care, and will use any oppertunity to attack Russia in a way that makes it look like defense.
Yo man, just a quick side note about Bruxelles, even tho its separated its more likely to follow Wallonia since is way more French speaking than Dutch speaking. Not sur abouts stats ill let you see by yourself but thats like 67% French for 25 Dutch for 8% others.
Just saying, Scotland is already a country, it's just not sovereign. Whilst it's also boasts things like the lowest crime rate, wealthiest, strongest economy, greatest growth, highest QoL etc. Scotland wants to remain in the EU, more so than the UK.
Sorry bro, dislike. Beside that u should really slow down, the amount of terrible mistakes (franco comunist...WHAT?!?), silly generalizations and superficial commentary of people's national issues is ridiculous. If you want to talk about this stuff i think you should at least get your facts right first. Plus, clickbating. No, nice try, but no.
YouRegolo sorry bro, disliked your comment. Besides that you shoukd really watch his videos more, you makes so e terrible mistakes here (ToyCat is an educational channel... WHAT?!?) silly asumptions and this superficial comment of people opinions, its rediculious! If you want to talk about someone you dont know, i think you should aleast get to know them. Plus,,, Eh cba...
i have a somthing to ask and i have somthing to say first ask what is with the boder in the north by knokke hiest now to say with the belgum thing that just might turn into a cival war
universalgamer No(I regularly change it to other patriotic things) but if i was Scottish I would want to be part of the 2nd most powerful country in the world rather than an independent trade reliant weak nation. also to my knowledge apart from Sweden and San marino we are the oldest country in the world
universalgamer The UK is a global power US is a super power there are no other global/super powers in the world therefore Th UK is the 2nd most powerful. Also name any country in the world and I will prove that the UK is an older country than it.
There are actually three regions in Belgium: Flanders, Valonia and the German speaking community. And the most probable scenario if Belgium splits up is: Flanders goes to the Netherlands, Valonia goes to France and the German speaking community goes to Germany. And Brussels, which was originally Flanders but now has a French speaking majority, will end up as some sort of capital district of the EU.
I'm Flemish, and very few Flemish people would want to join with the Dutch. Flanders as an independent republic, sure, but not as a part of the Dutch monarchy.
I almost died when you called Franco a communist
too lol
My ears hurt after that.
go back to your grave napoleon, you are already dead :D
haha
I facepalmed my hand thru my head.

It's not like they will leave now anyway

Northern Ireland is a province of the UK.
It is pretty much Ireland's leftovers after it left the UK.

I'm from Belgium and honestly, I do not think Belgium is gonna split, of course there is some issues between Wallonia and Flanders but even if it's not always easy, we love each other (I'm from Wallonia and I have several friends in Flanders) this is more the politics that are making it a big deal, but I don't think it's gonna happen :)
Oh, and btw you said that there were more dutch speaking in Brussels, that's not true and it is the reason why Belgium is not gonna separate, because Brussels has more french speaking than dutch speaking even if it's located in the dutch speaking side ^^
Hey, I'm from Belgium too, but from Flanders. And here a lot of people think that a split will be the better for both of us (most of the people I know, myself included). And although I do have several Walloon friends, it is clear to me that they are a totally different people.
And there are solutions to the problem posed by Brussels: make it a city state and keep the system of the communities, that way Flanders and Wallonia can still give their people their cultural and educational needs, but on every other aspect Brussels would be independent from both.
pieter-jan Vandaele
Hum, I was not saying it wouldn't be a good thing, I said I didn't think it was gonna happen (mostly because of the Brussels issue) I think we all have really different opinions about it but it is quiet a tough situation...
@pieter-jan Vandaele
They have done many different samples on this question in flanders, The results surprisingly always put that it was at most 30 percent but usually way less of the flemish that wanted too split of. It might be different in your region but generaly speaking it is not the case. Im flemish too btw
Red Centaur
Oh, I didn't even knew that... But still great to know :)
Can you make a video about United Kingdom leaving EU? I know there might be politics involved, but I'd love to hear your opinion on it.
What about Bavaria?
Åland is pronounced "Aww-land."
this helps me do alternate future of the world
Hey nice video ;D
I would like to say that other parts of spain, france and even a small city of italian sicily called L'alguer wants the independence to form The catalan country.
Thanks for the corrections, I'd love to learn more about the catalan region, I'm sure it'll feature in a future video sometime
ibx2cat :D
libre de que? libre de libertad
TheHortoman como?
TheHortoman si
one little "mistake" you made if i would call it that way, would be that Brussels is generally more flemish/dutch than french (if that was how you meant it at 7:33), in fact the flemish "cut" of people living in Brussels, or inhabitants speaking dutch has declined superfast in the last, i would say about 20-30 years.
Northern Ireland has home rule.
Soon it needs to join the republic!
Not really home rule. Each country in the U.K. has its own government apart from the English one which is kind of like the Head government
Home rule applies to colonies, which Northern Ireland isn't
Northern ireland is a colony of britian .
St Malky no it isn't its part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
also Wales isn't a kingdom, it's a principality, and Northern Ireland isn't a kingdom as the kingdom was Ireland (which has since left the monarchy completely behind) so "United Kingdom" would be weird on that front too
Qubéc anyone?
kaliss je suis pas québécois
last time I checked Englend invaded Wales... Maybe I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure.
I can see vlanders uniting with the Netherlands to.
I dont think, they will be alone as Flanders.
Nope, in Flanders and The Netherlands 66% is against that idea. Speaking the same language does not mean having the same culture. Far from it.
I don't know why they would reconnect now.
wiebe V aken they left becouse of belief they where more catholic. but i see why vlanders wants to leave. thier country is run by a walonian and they make up for only 35% of the population. and even made brussles a walonian/vlanders city. and it would bring way more profit for vlanders. we become the biggest traders in europe our econemy will boom and the soccer team wil be beast. that is why many people in north belgium name the splitting a mistake..
ibx2cat predicted KATALONIA
Scotland is already a country
Dan Fox no it really isnt lol
ItsGabysLife yes it is
It follows the definition of a country, and also has historically been a country
Dan Fox yes but it doesn't have its own currency and If you look up an atlas the country's section its classified as the UK and not Scotland so is not completely free do remember that
Soda King the entirety of Europe has one single currency.
Is Europe a country?
Toycat how come Northern Ireland used the British anthem but Wales used a different one is Euro2016 ?
Wales and Scotland have their own anthems but NI mustn't
If right was right they would use Amhran Na Bhfiann (Irish anthem) but politics says otherwise
Åland will not be independant. They might become swedish when our empire rises again though.
Noah Bromarf butthurt sverigedemokrat eh?
you mean as the swedish caliphate?
**Carolus Rex Intensifies**
Maybe it's me but I think it's sad when they split. It's like saying different people can't get along
boi also northern ireland will join the republic
Not enough people want to.
most of them would literally and i mean LITERALLY rather die before they see that happen
Catholics are having more babies and in the last poll they were more 85,000 unionists than republicans
Yugoslav Nationalist hmmmmm
there is alot of tension between the protestants and catholics considering that the IRA were constantly bombing innocent civilians and also the fact that the northen irish are probably the most patriotic people in the UK come the 12th of july every house you drive by they will have a union jack or an ulster flag you dont need to be there for very long to realize that they dont get along with each other
Take a breather mate, I was worried you were going to pass out.
moldova+romania?
How about the colonization of the Aromanians in Dobruja and Southern Dobruja during the monarchy?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dobruja#Demographic_history
Don't jump the gun accusing people of things as if only they are doing it, especially when you yourself are doing it.
PS: I am Romanian, I know my history.
If they transmutated groups of people they were smart.
Must have drank a gallon of coffee before this video...
You should really pace yourself when you speak and try to moderate the information. You are repeating yourself and talking very fast.
I've known Czechs and Slovaks and they don't have very friendly relations appearently. They are actually against Czechoslovakia.
Did this guy even breathe during the video?
How about Corsica ? You know, there is almost a "civil war" there...
Northern Italy will secede too.
Did you ever catch that fly you are hunting ?
ok bye franco was not communist he won against the communists in the spanish civil war!
im gonna create a country and everyone will speak Esperanto
Franco a Communist. Well, kinda close
Yes. Sadly it does
tbf in practice he wasn't that dissimilar to a lot of communist leaders. He had more in common with them than he would with a Utopian Marxist
Lol you uploaded this video at my birthday! :D
FREEUNDERRATEDMUSIC happy bday :3333333
FREEUNDERRATEDMUSIC nvm i am too late
the SNP did not receive a majority in the scottish election
They did in 2011 as he said. They didn't win a majority on their own in 2016, but the pro-independence parties (SNP, Greens & some smaller ones) still got a majority together.
no they didnt
+thunder2.0 yes they did in 2011
+blaze he said all the leave parties got a majority in 2016 they did not
There are 129 seats in the scottish parliament. SNP has 63, SGP 6, together 69. 129/2 is 64.5, so you need 65 for an absolute majority, which they obviously have.
You snuck your way into my reccomended
And Romania and moldova the same like czech republic and slovackia
learn english, and its not same.
no, it is not, surely, it's the same fucking language, this is more normal than the czechs and slovaks reuniting.
Iulian Oniciuc
yes, its not same, correctly romania and moldova = same country, slovakia and czech = 2 countries.
Moldova = Russified, impoverished Romania
Czech and slovakia were only one country idiot (Czechoslovakia) , as romania and moldova (Romania)
There's just so many factual inaccuracies...
Franco Communist? So painful to hear Americans talk about European history
Just so you know, He is from the UK.
Ba Dum Tss Just as bad they're all retards
I am from the UK & everyone hear acts like butthurt six year old's with no common sense with little knowledge what so ever.
Even worse then
It’s so painful to listen to Minecraft you tubers talk about European history
Why not Donetsk and Lugansk?
#Catalonia for independence as a huge supporter of Irish unification I hugely support independence moments like Scotland and Catalonia and Quebec and while you may think Spain will never let it due to Spain being broke they can't force them to stay and these people will fight for it if it comes to it
Soda King they can. They say it's unconstitutional to get independent lol
Åland is split between Finland and Sweden. And there have not been many wars over it since Finland previously belonged to Sweden and we have strong relations.
Erm....I live in Northern Ireland and ITS IS A COUNTRY, ITS OUR COUNTRY
Geographically it's Ireland but politically it's Northern Ireland
its ireland all the same
territory, not a country. It's complex haha
I live in the Republic of Ireland and I AGREE!!!
+ibxtoycat kamehameha!
"If you're watching a geography series you probably know a bit about geography" Yeah let's see I mean I can name all 197 countries in 8 minutes and 42 seconds.
IT IS SAD SO MANY PLACES WANT TO DO THEIR OWN BUISSINESS. WHY CAN'T THE WORLD UNITED ????!!!
PRINCE KRAZIE It could be for the better.
Communist in denial spotted.
Lol since when was world peace communism? Anyway I hope the US and Russia don't fight. WW3 might be the one that finally kills us all.
Yo man, just a quick side note about Bruxelles, even tho its separated its more likely to follow Wallonia since is way more French speaking than Dutch speaking.
Not sur abouts stats ill let you see by yourself but thats like 67% French for 25 Dutch for 8% others.
your acne is out of control. you need a wash
description: 5 countries that could exist in the next 100
Whats up with ur face man?
Since you go so close to Romania also, do you think they and Moldova might reunite too, soon enough?
Just saying, Scotland is already a country, it's just not sovereign. Whilst it's also boasts things like the lowest crime rate, wealthiest, strongest economy, greatest growth, highest QoL etc. Scotland wants to remain in the EU, more so than the UK.
catelonia was its own countree for only like 14 seconds ( i think )
Please talk a little slower jeeez 😂😂😂
Veneto? No Veneto? really?
Lol Franco communist 😂😂😂
I love your geography videos, and this outro is not bad, nor cringey, nor lame at all.
YouRegolo yo I thought that that was a dead glue on my screen that. Came from my hair I freak out lol
Actually,French resistance in ww2 had a communist group that wanted a post war communist France.
Lol . Yeah bit misinformed about Spain's fascist years and he mispronounces aland but hey ho at least he tries . Ten for trying
Plus,,,
Eh cba...
i have a somthing to ask and i have somthing to say first ask what is with the boder in the north by knokke hiest now to say with the belgum thing that just might turn into a cival war
Scotland please don't leave you will ruin our strong, powerful nation.
John Smith is it because changing your profile picture would be too strenuous?
universalgamer No(I regularly change it to other patriotic things) but if i was Scottish I would want to be part of the 2nd most powerful country in the world rather than an independent trade reliant weak nation. also to my knowledge apart from Sweden and San marino we are the oldest country in the world
We had a good run while it lasted but its time to move on, we fancy the Scandinavians now
But England isn't the 2nd most powerful nation by any means... in fact we barely make it to the top 5 list...
universalgamer The UK is a global power US is a super power there are no other global/super powers in the world therefore Th UK is the 2nd most powerful.
