Witsand is a nature reserve about 120km east of Upington. It lies along the gravel road between Groblershoop and Olifantshoek.

@@francoisraath3593 I think you might be wrong ... as far as I know Witsand Nature Reserve is just after Port Beaufort
@@neilgouws1438 I am definitely right. See co-ordinates: S28 33.879 and S22 29.221 This is the place well known for the so called "brulsand" which makes a roaring sound in summer if walked on.
