Just a comment on the Ranger in the sand. For best results (and that goes for any vehicle) you must disable the traction control (TC). The Ranger has 2 types of TC. The one uses the engine for braking when slip is detected and the 2nd one uses the ABS on the brakes. When you push the TC button to disable it, it only disengage the engine braking. The ABS TC is still active. What happens then is that when the wheels start spinning up a dune the ABS brakes that wheel and you loose momentum. To disable the ABS TC also, you have to hold down the TC button for up to 25 seconds. When your TC light flashes, it shows that both the engine braking and ABS braking TC is disabled. This does wonders to get up the dunes. My aplogy if you new this already. Have fun out there and I am enjoying your videos.
Luv that naartjie Wildtrack! The water of Akurabis come from a) Lesotho and b) Gauteng and below. Fed by these dams: Katse, Vanderkloof, Vaal, Gariep, Bloemhof, etc. Love the humour. Oh, so some stayed in Alex 😂😂😂
